got it,thx.. marc silvestri needs to get w/ the program and decide if he wants to do a ongoing or a limited run series IMHO..he had quite afew titles over the years that had short runs(Inferno Hellbound was one of them  )..i fear he'll do the same with Hunter Killer

Did he ever finish the Inferno Hellbound series? I started collecting them and then the shit disappeared!

i dont think he ever did.. :( it cut off at the issue right before they were about to confront one of the main villains of the story

Hunter Killer 10-12

th-th-th-that's all folks!

and yeah, artists should know their limitations. set a story for 4 to 12 issues, complete it, leave an out for another run, and move on.

same shit happened with Battle Chasers. motherfucker started it, was putting one issue out every 6 months, and ended it with 9 books.

if he set out to do , say, 5 books and did them then issued them out on a regular basis the shit would've been much better received.

Does anyone know where I can find this...its a pretty good read

subj: Runoff and Guillermo Del Toro

I am extremely happy to finally announce that Guillero Del Toro (writer and director of Pan's Labyrinth) and I are in talks to do a Runoff feature film together!
The project currently includes Guillermo and myself, as well as the producer Lloyd Levin (United 93, Boogie Nights, and the upcoming Watchmen movie) and Nick Nunziata (Meg, Grizzly Park).

The news was leaked on the Del Toro fansite:

and I got the okay to confirm that we are currently in talks. So with Runoff 3 now released and the series complete, I'm looking forward to the prospect of translating the series to the silver screen with these fine gents!

All my best,
Tom Manning

i just recieved the above email from the creator and thought it would be something worth sharing. unfortunately i dont think any of the books are available in ebook format...at least not yet, but if you dig del toro or anything related to horror, thriller, david lynch the recent luna bros hit GIRLS or pretty much are just willing to take a fullblooded endorsement from a fellow high art and gutter trash media lover, head on over to the robots and monkeys site and pick up at least chapter one of the series. www.robotsandmonkeys.com

heres the trailer for the just released(and, on my end, just received) final chapter three
