Comedian Tim Conway Dead at 85

Used to watch Carol show with my Great Grandmother when I was a little boy and she laughed and laughed at him. He has been slept on as a comedy great but he was ALWAYS funny. He was like Robin Williams in that he was funny as hell with just a eye movement or a smerk or some unexpected comment. He always broke the unwritten rule to not break script and he did it cause he knew his costar s had no idea he was gonna do it and he knew he would have them breaking character and cracking up thus making us laugh even harder and he did it with such smoothness. It so sad that all the great entertainers are gone from tv and music. RIP

I remember Tim he co-starred in McHale's Navy before the Carol Burnett Show, and was funny then but the Carol Burnett Show is where he really shined. That dude would have you crying he was so funny. That skit where he was playing a dentist and accidentally stuck himself with a needle full of novocaine was priceless.

For that era he was one of a kind.

Tim Conway was up there with Benny Hill as one of my favorite funny ass white man

Rest In Peace

Dorf never gets old. If only I had a dollar for each time his fellow actors tried not laugh during one of his skits
