Comcast has xfinity online that allows you to watch shows online
I would go with direct tv just for the picture in picture feature alone if I didn't get free cable

Comcast has an iPad/iPhone app that is very nice -- remote control / tv guide / watch on demand from your iPad. Shit is hot.

I've had FIOS since mid 2005. Cable has gone out ONCE in all that time. I've had to replace the bullshit router twice in 6 years. Best of all... No more COMCAST BULLSHIT! I hate them motherfuckers with every ounce of my soul. The FIOS network is just as rock solid as their Wireless network IMO. Customer service was never of the blood boiling, make a nigga wanna bomb some shit variety. FIOS for the motherfucking win.
im listening as well, I know I will have FIOS as a choice soon, but I've considered using a 2nd internet provider as well.

My box just skips channels during the middle of whatever I'm watching, some channels don't work, & I'm on like my 3rd box.
Yes, the dish is on the roof. I have Directv for television and ATT DSL. I was thinking about U-Verse but it is not going to work for me. I found out that you can only have a maximum of 4 streams coming into the house. HD video takes 2 streams, therefore with 2 HD tv's in the house, it would not work.
Scenario;
Wifey watching TV in the living room in HD while simultaneously recording a show to DVR on that same TV in HD. 4 streams in use.
Me - watching game in bedroom on ESPN HD....not....all 4 streams are already in use.
Fios is the Future and best option
Xfinity is cool too but Fios is number 1
I would like to get Fios but it is not available where I am at. Weather has not been a factor for me with Directv. I have not had any outages that I can remember in the 3.5 years now that I have had it.
Yup. Of course they were deploying it first to the areas with money. The area I live in is considered to be one of the more affluent parts of Md. so we got it way back. I was on the phone with them bitches before the trucks even left my neighborhood.
I STAYED on dslreports.com. Still do actually. The installer said I was one of the first 5 to be lit up in the area. I paid my motherfucking dues too so fuck all yall. Before we moved around here I was in a part of PG County that 1. wasnt wired for cable, 2. was too far from the central office for dsl, and 3. would not connect to any ISP over dialup faster than 28.8 I suffered through that for YEARS.

One more thing...take it as a warning or whatever... When they install FIOS in your house they also install a battery backup box in case you lose power. Basically an uninterruptable power supply for your system. When that fucking big ass rechargeable battery inside goes bad, like ALL rechargeable batteries do, YOU have to replace it outta your own pocket. Mine failed after like 2 1/2 years. Most people dont know this shit cause they havent had their fios long enough. But once niggas shit start failing I believe theres gonna be a HUGE backlash cause VZ never mentioned that shit anywhere. May be in the fine print but definitely not something they want people to know. Just FYI.
DirecTV is cool but you lose signal when the weather gets bad and that is a pain in the ass.
Comcast does not have that problem.

FIOS is the way....i pay less than 100 bucks a month for fios cable (got hbo and cinemax premiums) and fastest internet speed package
Uverse ain't half bad. Its up there with Comcast for picture quality and better than satellite. No idea on what the bill looks like tho and I haven't had the pleasure of FIOS. One thing about satellite, a ninja will go fucking crazy trying to wait for the HD channels to change.
