King of New York has to be up there with movies people like back in the days but is pure trash if you watched it now. I don’t remember watching it back in the days but I saw it several yrs ago my god that shit was trash and completely unrealistic. I don’t think I would’ve even liked it back in the days

Damn I LOVED that movie back then

It wasn't about realistic though

It was a different time different audience different knowledge/ experience base.

You can't judge those movies like that.

Cause like most think the moment and timing matters.

In the '90s, it was THE movie. So much so Biggie called himself the "Black Frank White". Like most things, it's good during its time. Everything in life has a season.
