I really can't be sure if a private attorney would have help him that much? My concern is the all white jurors (9 women and 3 men) and how they perceive black men. In this case, the video tape evidence showed that she was not forced to leave the bar with Mr. Wilson, and she appeared to be coherent upon returning to the bar. In addition, there was no seminal fluid or DNA was found on her clothing or a vaginal swab.

In 7th grade I was forced to read, then watch, then write a book report on To kill a mockingbird. I didn't think much of it at the time- I got the obvious shit- but missed all the societal parallels.
As a man I can barely make it through the move without getting pist. I can't even read the book anymore.
THAT BEING SAID EVERY YOUNG BLACK MAN BETWEEN 13-26 needs to read or watch this- all to obvious to me at the age of 38- cautionary tale.

This here is an example of miscommunication. Shit happens between new and women and whites and blacks on a daily basis. Now throw in a bullshit ass jury and have them make the call. That’s what happened to this kid and its painful as hell.
You described something COMPLETELY different than the pic portrays. The pic shows a casual dressed, young black man clearly distressed and sorrowful. He is breaking down in tears. You can see the disbelief on his face. Meanwhile the machined wheels of the law roll on as the emotionless guards point him away to prison. They have zero fucks to give either. Just business as usual.
Not pointing fingers or anything just pointing out how shit can get misread and I think thats what happened here with this white girl and the young brother.
She need to grow up, come the fuck clean and help get this kid outta prison.
