[Colin Warning] Kobe Bryant Is Defying Age

ROFL @ all the players who came in w/ Kobe now either:

a) role players
b) bums
c) out of the league

Shit, Tim Duncan declined like crazy as soon as he hit 30... he's picked it up a little bit though.... . .

this has something to do w/ the PED's, current day supplements and training regiments nowadays and the lack of real physical play in todays game.... ..

Just Wait until Lebron and Durant get to 33, 34... they'll probably be defying age too, somewhat...

Props to Kobe though... I mean so many niggas is straight bums now 3, 4 years after he was Drafted.. . .

Real physical play? Define real. Running, jumping, starting, stopping 9 months out of the year is all you need to happen to age.
Lebron is going to be an interesting case.

Once the lift and speed isn't at a level where he can athletically overwhelm, is he going to start playing like older Charles Barkley?

That shit would probably work, tho'. Barkley used to slowly push his defender under the basket, and it wasn't shit they could do to stop it. That dude was strong as a motherfucker.
Wasn't he though.

I'm beginning to think that this game was a bit of a mind trick.

The media reported he was sick, that's when he performed best, so it was spoken into existence, and he delivered.

I remember him saying recently that looking back on it, if he were given the chance to do it again, he would never. He said he felt like he was near death.

there was an interview on grantland where it was alluded to that the flu might have been really a hangover lol

[/I][/B]He fell off... He DIDNT Maintain the Same Level of consistency... PERIOD.

Facts are Facts, Stats are Stats.[/I][/B]

Guess what, that happens when u get OLD... theres nothing "Age Defying" about Letting injury in your later years fuck up your Minutes, Numbers, Play and Production... thats the direct Opposite of "Age Defying"...

Engage your Brain.

Last verse, same as the first..:smh: Repeating the same lies dont make them any less fictional. I have already debunked your horseshit regarding the "dropped way off" at 29. You continue to conveniently gloss over the fact that he had a MVP level season and won a title at 30 while being THEE guy on a 60win team.

And plantar fasciitis has zero to do with age or breaking down due to age. This is evidenced by the fact that he is currently healthy while having a year near career average in terms of productivity and efficiency. And assigning such nonsensical logic to injury would mean that Derrick Rose is now on the decline due to his time and playing being limited and eliminated due to health. You make no sense.

Further, Kobe is playing 40minutes a night because he fucking has to. His team is trash and his impact of the game has decreased significantly. THAT is a sign of falling off. Logging major minutes and jacking copious amounts of shots should not be your determiner in assessing "age defying". Thats more of a stat of necessity. Quantity should not be confused as quality.

Engage your brain.... and stop celebrating a jacker on a 9th place team filled with hall of famers.

from 29 to 35, Duncans numbers are:
17ppg, 10rebs, 3assts, 1.7blks

from 21 to 28, Duncans numbers are:
22ppg, 12rebs, 3assts, 2.5blks

Duncans usages has been Way down since he hit 29 aswell as his Winshares......

in the 2011 playoffs, he averaged a horrible 12ppg.... and a couple of regular seasons ago, he was averaging 15 and 13ppg for the entire seasons, respectively and wasnt even voted in by the coaches in the ASG.

He fell off... He DIDNT Maintain the Same Level of consistency... PERIOD.

Facts are Facts, Stats are Stats.

What would be really funny is if Dwight told Kobe he needs to play through his injury. Like Kobe did when Howard has that shoulder injury

What's his MPG? Its well known he played around 28 minutes his two worst seasons. That was by design.

The guys an idiot. The fact that he's still repeating the same trash- even after last nite- if proof positive. Some people just dont know when they're defeated.

Exactly his coach was resting him and keeping his minutes down so of course the numbers would be down as well

But Duncan isn't a stat chaser so he is cool with that

Which leads me to my original point in this thread.. Productivity and efficiency are better measurements of "age defying". Quality always trumps quantity. And logging a ton of minutes on bad teams while taking 25FGA's should not be the sole barometer in a discussion such as this.

One of my quicker "i told ya so's" to date D-TOWN. They usually take 6months to a year.

It was almost immediate

15ppg, 13ppg for entire consecutive seasons...

17ppg per 36 minutes in 2011.

12ppg in the 2011 PLAYOFFS.... 12 Points Per Game in the Playoffs....

12 Points Per Game in the Playoffs...

Not being voted in for an ASG because of Non-all star caliber play.

Exact Opposite of "Age Defying".....

I'll keep repeating it again, again and again because you cant Argue w/ Facts.

Re: [Colin Warning] tobe Bryant Is Defying Age

you can always tell the people who never played or understand basketball.

it's not surprising IN THE LEAST that tobe has been able to extend his career. it's a result of playing SF in the triple post O.

all the empty banter about "mileage" and "minutes" is horse shit. is it really surprising when a chucker gets to set up on a wing, shoot over the top of the D, and never play D on the other side of the ball?

:smh:
