Well,

(1) She is a Police officer;

(2) Police officers are notorius for supporting their own;

(3) Its O.K. that she gave her impressions of Crowley's character;

(4) But, she was not present at the scene; and

(5) Whatever she says about what happened at the "the scene" is worthless.

(6) If this incident turned her against the President and her Governor, she probably has other issues, anyway.

LIKE I SAID IN ANOTHER THREAD, "FUCK THIS BLUE BARBIE DOLL LOOKIN' BITCH". LIKE QueEx SAID, IF SHE LETS THIS ONE INCIDENT, IN WHICH SRT. CROWLEY IS THE ONE AT FAULT, CHANGE HER DISPOSITION ON WHETHER OR NOT SHE'LL VOTE FOR PRESIDENT OBAMA AGAIN, THEN SHE HAS OTHER ISSUES, OR, SHE'S A JUST A DUMB BLUE BEYOTCH. I'M MORE INCLINED TO THINK THE LATTER.

WHAT SHE FAILS TO REALIZE IS THAT SHE'S DOING THE SAME THING THAT SHE'S ACCUSING PRESIDENT OBAMA OF DOING, WHICH IS, PASSING JUDGMENT BEFORE THE FACTS ARE PRESENTED. SHE'S ASSUMING HER LOVER SGT. CROWLEY IS 100% NOT AT FAULT FOR ANYTHING, BEFORE SHE EVEN KNOWS ALL THE FACTS. SHE'S SUPPORTING HER FRIEND JUST LIKE THE PRESIDENT'S SUPPORTING HIS FRIEND. RIGHT? NOW WHAT THE FUCK SHE TALKIN' 'BOUT!!

NOTE: THERE'S NO RACE WHEN A COP PUTS A UNIFORM ON. THEY ALL BECOME THE SAME RACE, BLUE. THEY STICK TOGETHER LIKE STANK STICKS TO SHIT.

Perfect example of the knee-groes defending the slavemaster and his over-seer aka officer.

knee-groes is totally lost.

PS

FUCK THE POLICE!

Wow is it that one of many despise the police or that she merely expressed her opinion. So she's a b- word for that??? All she stated was that the president should have waited for the facts? Isn't that what we ask of one another daily in our posts? If a state official questioned the integrity of your industry without knowing all of the facts, would you keep silent? If it cost you money or the scorn of public opinion would it be ok with you? Is it ok as long as it not in your back yard?

The black officer before her noted that he's not saying that the department is immune from racism, or that it won't happen in the future. So we are to dismiss them because they look like us? Without all of the coon double speak, is there something wrong with a black man or woman thinking there own thoughts?

Your logic is flawed. As you have put it in the past, so is Michelle.

QueEx

Well, I've backed off that position.

I own the term "black" as much as anyone else.

So, if someone says they're "black", it is not my place to question them.

In the case of this woman, I assume she regards Obama as "black" (by Obama's own words) and regards Gates' wife as "white" and hence my assertion.

Well, I'll be honest. If this post is any indication, you've come a long way
and I must give credit, where credit is due. (sorry, I know you economist
buffs hate that term but, to your credit, LOL, you've earned it in my book.

Now, don't go spending it all in one thread,

I agree. She shouldn't be called a Bitch. Just as I despise the use of the "N" word to or among us, I also despise use of the "B" word with respect to women, especially Black women.

I'm not even upset over by what I consider her "over-the-top" show of support for Crowley. She has a right to speak her mind and, frankly, to hug whom ever the fuck she pleases. However, when words were enough, punctuating her verbal position with a hug and kiss, especially in this sensitive matter, makes me wonder the woman's AND Crowley's reactions to those emotions (frankly, I'm not sure which of them moved to kiss/hug first) belie something more.

At least, Obama and Gates acknowledged their friendship. Perhaps, those two have some "splaning" to do, as well.

If that were all; if it was merely as you described; it if was merely her saying "wait of the facts", YOU wouldn't have had to go on with that silly dis-analogous diatribe about state officials, and shit.

What do the FACTS SAY?:

  • She was not present at the scene, yet she is making statements about the incident. How could she ask the President to "wait on the facts" when her ass has also come to conclusions, WITHOUT PERSONAL KNOWLEDGE OF WHAT HAPPENED ???

  • Curiously, Crowley, the so-called "Profiling Expert", inserted into his own report the very words of a "Profiler": black men and backpacks, and

  • The white woman who Crowley said told him that, FLATLY DENIES IT. In fact, she said on the tape (which Crowley had not heard when he made his report) "she did not see" one of the men and the one she saw, "appeared to be Hispanic".

So, while the police are banding together; the bands around Crowley's statement are ragged, as hell.

How about not, overlooking the facts, eh ?

You see, I've alluded to you being white before. Nah, I've called you white. I was wrong for making that assumption without actually meeting you. But, that might not be necessary. Keep writing this kind of shit and we'll have all the proof we need, no matter what color your skin happens to be.

I'm going to leave the above for other posters to think about. Maybe some of them can correct my suspecting thoughts.

Agreed. Well stated position!

Que, I personally don't care if you infer by my postings if I'm white or not. We've been down this road before. I've been so called lurking on this board for years but never botherd to post, due to my own preconceived ideas how many of my race feel about a brother who trailblazes outside the realm of groupthink. If it makes you feel good so be it. Having said that, to call someone white boy because they have a difference of opinion is rather silly. Please tell me that isn't you only line of defense??? I'd rather mix ideas with Thought than deal with that. I hope you feel good about supporting an ideology that has been making promises to our communities for the last forty years and hasn't eradicated not a single one. I choose to do my own thinking. It never seems to amaze me how you want consevatives to stick to the subject matter but you can't.

I think the debate on this moot for the most part. By Mass. law their was no legal ground to arrest Gates. Therefore the charges were dropped.

Next, we know the officer lied in his report.

I honestly don't think the guy is a racist though. This was an pissing contest and in a pissing contest with a cop the cop will always win initially.

I doubt however the revelation that he concocted the story of their being a report of two Black men and speaking to the caller will ultimately make any difference to anyone who initially supported the arrest.

The rights guaranteed by the Constitution and the Bill of Rights are a joke ultimately. Even when people found out the arrest was not warranted some still defend it. Some people will give up their rights and the rights of others at the drop of a hat in the face of authority. This is one of those cases.

LOL. Hey man, if overlooking the facts is trailblazes outside the realm of groupthink, give me group think. Frankly, it doesn't bother me of you're black or white but maybe you should consider droping the "preconceived ideas" you think other Black people have about you. Maybe having "preconceived ideas" predisposes you to come to the table with wrong conclusions, about your brothers.

ENOUGH of the psychoanalysis. How come you didn't respond to the "Factual Matters" in my last response to you ???

I hope you feel good about supporting an ideology that has been making promises to our communities for the last forty years and hasn't eradicated not a single one.

Could you please, please be specific. What ideology are you talking about. Please demonstrate (give examples) what you're talking about. Please.

Man, I've pointed out to you times too numerous to count: I don't give a shit about those labels you like to drop. Stop defending labels (like Conservative) and stop wholesale knocking things you call "Liberal". Be and live what you are; not a damn label.

Show me that you can think, without the labels.

The video clip is just as racist as CNN’s attempt to point out how racist the allegations are. As if ”black“ people don’t have the right to have differing points of views as anyone else, whether black or white! However, I am originally from New England and I do have a relative who is a Sheriff and police will draw the “Blue Curtain” around their colleagues and defend them unquestionable, right or wrong until the end. And also as a note, Boston is by far a very racist area whether you believe the stereotype of it being a “liberal” city or not. During the 1970’s some of the most violent and racist, anti school busing protests occurred in the Boston area. When the New York Mets beat the Boston Red Sox in the 1986 World Series, my cousin and I walked across the Boston Commons with our Mets’ hats on and got chased with taunts of, “N*****!” And remember, Donna Summers is from Boston and I would not call her the most afrocentric sister out there.

Bro' Cambridge and Boston are two very different cities. But I can see where your coming from.

As for that sister supporting her "Brother in blue", Im very disappointed in her visceral display, and her ability to say she'll would be voting for our current President. Somewhere in my soul I feel betrayed by her reject of this men of color.

Regardless, I wish her well.

I understand this, college town vs. city, but both interrelated.

Where did you conclude this? Why do you take this so personally? Get some self esteem. Again, let “Black” folk be individuals. She will have her “Wake Up N*****” epiphany one day!

As I wrote in another thread...I lived in Cambridge for many years, and Boston also...

Is there any difference?...not really. The phony 'liberals' in Cambridge are just as racist as the blue collar, beer drinking conservatives in Boston.

In Cambridge they love to hold dinners to benefit hunger in the Sudan, but when they see a black man next door...well,we saw what happen to Gates.

The female cop could have supported her comrade without the slam on Obama.

Most Black cops are just as stupid & ignorant as their white counterparts; that’s a fact, & no surprise.

Police culture, especially street level cops are all indoctrinated into the “blue wall of silence” .

<b>“Keep your mouth shut no matter what you see happen” Lying under oath, Testi-lying, is encouraged and expected. Police Brutality, Corruption, Racism, Discourteous speech, Alcoholism, Fucking arrested sex workers, are all part of the normal day “on the job”.</b>

<s>FOX</s> FAKE News Judge gets it right about the Gates arrest.
The arrest was illegal!!!!

Bro' look up "Esteem", and save the attitude for the main board.

As for the individuals part, thats cool. But in times of crisis I think were better served disabling that luxury. In this case she not really acting as a individual, shes a active part of the group.

Luxury? Why is it a "luxury" for a "Black" person? How about a right.

In this case she not really acting as a individual, shes a active part of the group.

...and? That's her right, right or wrong. Why even consider it. Every brother ain't a brother, ever sister ain't a sister. Not everyone is going to be “down for the cause”, but they will claim the fruits from it. Like becoming a Black female police officer where none existed previously, unfortunately.

That individual's rights is a clear indication against African Americans, if she held these beliefs behind closed doors, than no problem.

But a public display IMO is pure political betrayal. Further compounded by the comments. Remembered her (and all the supporting Blk cops) rights broke or violated a presumptive social contract, or trust.

Those needs for individual rights are normally based on the self serving wants.

What did she gain right? Her peers respect? A future promotion? Could you trust people like this in a position of power?

I was a racial profiler: Ex-cop says he used skin color to make arrests
By Jake Mcnicholas

Sunday, August 2nd 2009, 4:00 AM

Darren Gygi

I'm retired now after a wonderful career with the New York City Police Department, and I have a confession to make.

I used a person's race to initiate investigations and make subsequent arrests. In fact, according to the definition bandied about by those on the left who have no idea what they are talking about nor a clue when it comes to police work, I was - yes - a racial profiler.

A little background. I was a detective, a third generation member of the greatest police department in the world, descendant of my grandfather who sailed from the west of Ireland and then served as a cop for 35 years. My dad, the man I most admire, is a retired first grade detective who put in 33.

In November 1992 I was transferred to Manhattan North Narcotics. We covered the precincts north of 59th St. but rarely did enforcement south of 96th St.

I never had a better time in my life than my early years in Manhattan North. I worked with the greatest guys in the world and had more laughs than you could imagine. I went to war with these guys and gals, white, black, Hispanic.

Put it this way. When you were up there during this time, you didn't want to take off or go on vacation and miss something. There was nothing worse than coming back to work and have some guy say, "Wow, you should have been here yesterday."

I spent a lot of time in Washington Heights during those years, working narcotics in the confines of the 30th Precinct. It was a busy place with loads of illegal drug activity - dealing on the street and in residential buildings outfitted and barricaded as drug spots. We made arrests, thousands of arrests, and here is one of the ways the white cops and Hispanic cops and black cops did it.

We looked for white people.

That's all you really had to do. Cruise Broadway or Amsterdam Ave. or Riverside Drive in an unmarked car, spot the white guy driving the vehicle with the Jersey plate slow and deliberate, watch him park and shuffle to the sale location, watch him walk back to the vehicle with the pep in his step shortly thereafter and bingo. Most times you had a collar.

That's what you were paying us for, wasn't it? The good people of Washington Heights have a right to live in a neighborhood free of cretins driving over the George Washington Bridge to Manhattan for the sole purpose of buying drugs, don't they?

Is that not good police work? Of course it is.

So please, ponder this for a moment. Who do you think is terrorizing the black community? Who do you think is raping and assaulting young black women? Who do you think is pulling out the nine and shooting young male blacks on the corner over a bag of Cheez Doodles and a Philly blunt?

Pause and ask yourself why do you think more blacks and Hispanics are stopped? Because, you guessed it, they are the ones committing the crimes and fitting the description. The Police Department is not making this up. This is the horrible truth. The carnage is appalling, and rather than address the real issue, liberals and civil rights leaders make excuses and ignore the facts.

Now the left is all worked up over a cop responding to a 911 call of a burglary in progress and the resulting collar. Henry Louis Gates Jr. is a Harvard professor. How about this novel approach, "Certainly, here's my ID and thanks for the quick response Sergeant."?

But here is the most profoundly sad part about it all. Even after Thursday's "beer summit," this will be an issue for months, a ridiculous issue. And all the while the body count from black-on-black crime will continue to rise.

McNicholas served with the NYPD from 1985 to 2007, retiring as a first grade detective from the terrorist interdiction unit of the Intelligence Division.

Re: I was a racial profiler: Ex-cop says he used skin color to make arrests

Oh sure, this "third generation" cop admits to racial profiling then condescends as if HE has the answers to society's ills. He also poses as a criminal statistician and a sociologist to boot (NOT!). I bet the guy is working with a high school education...tops! He loved his job and never wanted to take off because he knew he'd miss out on some "fun" stuff while he was gone. This in the same police department KNOWN for corruption? Shaking down dealers....framing "suspects"...planting evidence, etc., etc. Does the name Serpico ring a bell? This guy is a hypocrite of the worst degree. He's the beneficiary of "the system" (nepotism) and a loyal defender of it as well. Judging from some of these posters, he's got support (either from idiot sychophants who get weak in the knees just seeing a blue uniform OR other similar beneficiaries of the centuries old "old boy" clique).

I could not agree more...........
