He didn't have to say that he agreed. I have thought of many ways he could have approached it. But Obama showed that he knows how to play politics. The tone of his speech was "if I knew he had said things like that I wouldn't have even associated with Reverend Wright". Reverend Wright didn't just start preaching like this.

I thought that the speech was a little different than what the sound bite had referenced, however I still had problems with it.
For instance, America has come a long way. Black folks couldn't drive buses or be police officers or firemen in yesteryear. America has come along way and I don't think that our youth has come to an understanding at what they have.
