Help the old man out yall. I need some recommendations on hair clippers/face trimmers. I’m not spending $100s on em either. I got this dumb ass cowlick so I have to cut my own hair and my last set just died. I was using Walmart specials for the haircut (I just cut it low all around) but for my face I use a sensitive razor but for my neck area I gotta use magic shave. I got real sensitive skin. I couldn’t find the thread on it. Any suggestions?

Pay for quality. You’re going to pay $70 -100 for mid level. I have 3 set, 2 wahl clippers and Andis t-edgers. Some blades are shaper others depending on what you pay. If you know a cool barber, ask them to set your gaps.

I've been using a Wahl I got from my stepfather over 20 years ago. I had to repair the cord once but that was years ago. Still working. I oil up the blades every now and then. I can't speak on the newer Wahl's but mine works and was made well.

Like what? And don't be linking some cheap Chinese shit that breaks in 2-3 years.
Andis has withstood the test of time for a reason.

Two dull and one broken

Im speaking from my personal experience. I had to stop using andis a couple yrs now, they blades arent sharp, always need readjusting and dont last long. Also the blades bite. I see barbers also moving from them. Babybliss seems to be the top dawg for a while now. I find these newer ones are lighter, don't get hot, and are sharp out the box while not biting the skin. I already posted what im using for a couple of yrs now. Check the reviews. I was skeptical at first also, but after seeing enough pple posting about them i gave it a shot and have not looked back
