I never got a chance to see Jim brown play... I wasn't alive then.
I actually know him more for his acting
This was the first movie that started my love of Jim Brown... After this I went back and looked for the classics growing up.
Then i was all in when I saw him in I'm going to get you sucka.

He was A LOT, did A LOT, and will always be A LOT. Met him once in FLL airport about maybe 3-4 yrs ago. He was with his wife. Said "Excuse me, sir. Afternoon. Don't wanna ask for a picture or an autograph but just wanna say.....Thank you. Thank you for all that you did." Had too much respect and admiration for the man, I guess. In hindsight, kinda wish I would have asked for that autograph. R.I.P. and peaceful journey to the one that did it his way.

i'm not old enough to have seen him play except in clips, but he dominated at every level he played...dominated.
and left nfl at his peak to do him, and go to hollywood...damn if his 70's movies weren't on point!

my favorite coming up as a shorty mid 70's...three the hard way...kickin ass and taking names, with head held high!
not to mention his activism. set the tone for being a spokesperson for the black experience in the 60's and beyond. later, he did a lot to keep a lid on things here in los angeles between the young men in gang life.
