Great interview. Jim Kelly seems like a very down to earth brother. But can that be true about Chris Tucker cannot read. I shook hands with Chris Tucker in Talladega Alabama. Did not have a chance to talk to him other than saying how are you doing and so. But I remember someone asking him when is he going to get married. He said he is to busy enjoying the bachelor life to think about marriage. And I can understand when you are rich and famous you can live a very great bachelor life.

No Chris hasnt been in any other movies because Chris cannot read. All of his work has to be improv

Maybe he suffers from Dyslexia(sp) like actor Danny Glover but I refuse to think that this man is illiterate.
If that's the case I'm sure he had to sign a contract for payment when he started out doing stand up on the Def Comedy Jam in addition to his talk show appearances, And more importantly his movie's such as Fridays, Dead Presidents, The Fifth Element, and Rush Hour.
If he's illiterate then it stands for reason he should be broke if he can't read a contract.
These unscrupulous agents, lawyers and financial advisors would clean his pockets.

I've heard for many years that Chris held movies like Ice Cube's "Friday's" in hostage because he demanded money that exceeded "A lister's" salaries per movie at that time.
They say Ice Cube refused to give him that type of money.
He definitely demanded more money for the "Rush Hour" sequel and producers of that movie acquiesced to his demands.
