Went to a chiropractor once a week for lower back pain. Everything was great until I couldn't afford the appointments.
Once I told him that he was like "get a bag of frozen peas, cover it in a tea towel. Press it on your back for 20 minutes. Take it off for 2 hours and hit it for another 20 minutes. Keep doing that until it feels better."
That was 20 years ago and it worked so well I haven't needed a chiropractor since.
