How do you test your kid to see if the are gifted/genius?

Yes but at the same time its confidence as well, he was oozing it and it was fun to him.
Its easy being confident when your really good at what you do..
I believe that the human mind is adapting to adjust to this binary world that we have created and as the result, there are some pleasant results such as the so called indigo children that I mentioned but also, some of the new breed thugs, homos, and outcast may also be the direct result of our minds being tampered with and or adjusting...
Funny how us humans are becoming more computer like faster than the computers are becoming more human like...

2 things REALLY stood out to me:
1) Moms wanted to review one more time, and was pushing the kid- not ordering him to...speaking to him with respect and as an adult, but ultimately told him "I trust you" and walked away from it-
2) little man was absolutely NOT on that rain man savant type thing where he was rattling off cards like he was speed reading. That shit looked like he was actually accessing his memory mansion and retrieving the necessary information, which is great because it would be much easier for the white folks to dismiss him (savant, autistic, etc) if he had rattled them off in 30 seconds.

Consider this kids are doing the rubik cube faster, something that involves algorithm like thinking (something that computers use)..
Even rap music today is actually more completed as far as flow, yet the rappers seem to use more of a algorithm like flows as opposed to the organic flow from the old school... Even the beats of today follow a different structure more complicated as far as a drummer trying to replicate yet its more mechanical and computer like using drum kits that require more pattern memory and less rhythm used by a traditional drum...
Fam u can't drop something so damn deep and intricate something that not only effects me as an educator and a parent but as a person on a football weekend and I got off tomorrow.

When I first saw this show I was impressed with the kids and how brilliant they were. But then I noticed that they were competing for a 100k scholarship. As smart as these kids are they don't need to be on this show to get a scholarship. I have a hard time believing that the parents of these kids aren't aware their kids are on the path to earn a scholarship or are they the "stage parents" trying to get their kids exposure and fame?
His father has that Stephen Hawking stare.
I had a talent like that. You could give me 5 numbers up to 4 digits and I could figure out the average on the dot within seconds.

That was just one small clip I'm pretty sure they had more going on there.
I still stand by my comment, there are a lot of people out there with photographic memory who just live regular lives and regular jobs. It doesn't make one a genius.
He's not called a genius because of that one competition his a genius because he is in the Top 0.1% I.Q. group.

Well, apparently a 125 IQ is now the new threshold for genius.
10 years ago it was 137 and 20 years ago it was 150.
I remember when 125 was only "gifted" or "exceptional".
If humanity is evolving to become more intelligent, why have we lowered the bar on "genius"?
