The video appears to show the CTA working firing repeatedly down a set of stairs early Saturday at the 95th/Dan Ryan station, which police said struck a 53-year-old man in the back and leg, leaving him in critical condition.

I can speak from personal experience that most public transport workers wait for the day they get pushed and assaulted like that on the job.... because that would be the green light for staying on the ground, calling the cops to get that mofo arrested but more importantly getting a few months off with a bad back and a few thousand dollars in compensation....

..... that worker obviously didn't go with the script and let his stupid ego take charge and thought it would be better to shoot and kill the mofo rather than get paid and time off from the job.... really dumb decision.
