http://moviesfoundonline.com/louis_theroux_law_disorder.php

Was watching this programme from Louis Theroux who is well known in the UK for his work with the BBC. Gave an insight on the crime that takes place in North Philly. Some of the areas there were really run down. Shame.

The Great African Scandal

http://www.moviesfoundonline.com/great_african_scandal.php

"In this thought-provoking documentary, made with the help of Christian Aid, academic Robert Beckford undertakes a challenging, emotional journey to Ghana in West Africa. This is where, two centuries ago, Robert Beckford’s ancestors were seized and taken as slaves to Jamaica. Now he is making a journey to the land of his roots to discover the hidden costs of rice, chocolate and gold."

American Drug War: The Last White Hope

http://www.moviesfoundonline.com/american_drug_war.php

"The War on Drugs has become the longest and most costly war in American history, the question has become, how much more can the country endure? Inspired by the death of four family members from "legal drugs" Texas filmmaker Kevin Booth sets out to discover why the Drug War has become such a big failure. Three and a half years in the making the film follows gang members, former DEA agents, CIA officers, narcotics officers, judges, politicians, prisoners and celebrities. Most notably the film befriends Freeway Ricky Ross; the man many accuse for starting the Crack epidemic, who after being arrested discovered that his cocaine source had been working for the CIA. AMERICAN DRUG WAR shows how money, power and greed have corrupted not just dope fiends but an entire government. More importantly, it shows what can be done about it. This is not some 'pro-drug' stoner film, but a collection of expert testimonials from the ground troops on the front lines of the drug war, the ones who are fighting it and the ones who are living it."

Off the chain

http://www.moviesfoundonline.com/off_the_chain.php

"At the turn of the century, the pit-bull was America's favorite pet. How did it go from Pete in the Little Rascals to public enemy number 1. This documentary is an undercover look at the world of dog fighting and how its damaged the breed. Its not bad dogs, its bad owners."

Mahatma: Life of Ghandi

http://www.moviesfoundonline.com/mahatma.php

"All events and principles of Gandhi's life and thoughts are viewed in this film as integrated parts of his truth-intoxicated life depicting permanent and universal values. The purpose of the film is to tell the present and the future generations 'that such a man as Gandhi in flesh and blood walked upon this earth', and to spread his message of peace and universal brotherhood to the war-weary and fear-stricken world."

David Icke: Was he right?

http://www.moviesfoundonline.com/david_icke_was_he_right.php

El Che - Investigating A Legend

http://www.moviesfoundonline.com/el_che_investigating_a_legend.php

"Che Guevara, the man with the beret with the star, embodies one of the strongest myths of the 20th century. He was a combination of a saint and an adventurer; somewhere between Don Quixote and a latter-day Jesus Christ. In his relations with Fidel Castro, he is the hero of a tragedy of Shakespearean proportions. Che Guevara became a symbol of an entire generation. Today he is a myth. Some still draw inspiration from him - others condemn him; sometimes bitterly. For all, he is a subject of controversy and passion. This film examines the myth, and contains: His voyages of discovery through Latin America, the meeting with Fidel Castro, when an instantaneous friendship was born, his travels around the world, and footage of his tragic end in Bolivia at age 39."

The true story of Che Guevera

http://www.moviesfoundonline.com/true_story_of_che_guevara.php

"THE TRUE STORY OF CHE GUEVARA uncovers the real story of the life and death of this twentieth century icon."

Fidel

http://www.moviesfoundonline.com/fidel.php

"Documentary about Fidel Castro, covering 40 years of Cuban Revolution. Rare Fidel Castro footage: he appears swimming with a bodyguard, visiting his childhood home and school, playing with his friend Nelson Mandela, meeting kid Elián Gonzalez, and celebrating his birthday with the Buena Vista Social Club group."

Tupac Shakur : Before I wake

http://www.moviesfoundonline.com/tupac_shakur_before_i_wake.php

"Before I Wake is unique in that it is the only known documentary that chronicles the last year of Tupac Shakur's life as seen through the eyes of the one person that was closest to him, his bodyguard, Frank Alexander. For the first time see intimate details, including behind the scenes studio footage of Tupac creating some of his most innovative music. Then you actually go to the place where Tupac was shot in Las Vegas and speak with investigators still trying to solve his murder. It has actual interview footage and never seen before studio footage of Tupac Shakur. Also interview footage of Eric 'Eazy E' Wright, Russell Simmon, Rev. Jesse Jackson Sr, Cathy Scott, the Las Vegas Reporter, and the main Las Vegas Detective on the cast, Detective Becker."

So far I have watched this one:

Wonderland: Virtual Adultery and Cyberspace Love

It was pretty sad. People living lives on the computer and the damage it does in their REAL lives..very good and not that long! Check it out.

Yeah, I actually made a thread here on SOL about that one back in the day. It is crazy how the people in that one let the internet get in the way of real relationships.
