Not Bad work man. there are a few basic rules that your missing that could take your work higher. I train artists every year (so I know what I'm talking about). I employ 15 artists at my various caricature and airbrush shops. Hit me up if you want any pointers.

You seem to have the potential, but what's missing is that you need to study under an accomplished artist. There's a lot of things that's missing in your work that could be easily corrected by studyin under a professional artist. I'm an artist myself, and I totally would be way behind had I not studied under some professional artists.

And if they didn't have an accomplished artist to teach them directly, then they would just study artwork completed by professional artists and tried to figure out how they did the pieces. Lastly, try to find a mentor (professional artist) who can teach you, or advise you, upon many of the minor things you need to know.

...did you know kanye west is a great artist too...i seen him showing some of his joints on some barbara walters interview i think. i'll google search and see what turns up,he should publish his works,seeing how arrogant he is about his talents. i noticed how the black man in general has warmed up to kanye after his crazy-ass dissed Bush about the whole Katrina mess in new orleans. it seemed before that, the black man's ego couldn't embrace kanye cause he didnt rap about guns, and he would be in the media saying he wished rappers would be more tolerant of gays and stop dissing them. the black man has too much pride and macho-ness to even think about befriending any one who is a male and takes it up the ass. i respect kanye cause he's a talented beat-maker,with clever lyrics...i cant stand the ego ,but you need that to be a superstar....remember the flashiness of deion sanders,reggie jackson,ali,prince naseem hamed(what the hell happened to that fool anyway...lol)...........i think beyonce said she had some art skills too... anyway,be safe and God Bless all my fellow perverts on here....happy jerking!!!!

I wasn't trying to show you up at all man. Take it how you want. But I hire kids every year who come to me with work like this. You have drive enough to keep trying and thats a first. I was just trying to tell you that there are certain fundamentals that are missing.
1.) A good artist sees shapes and details last. If you can't look at a can and see a cylinder first, then your already dead in the water.
2.) Your work lacks confidence. I teach my kids about "execution", line quality and proper lay out to get the most out of the work.
There are a 100 things here that need to be done before you can move to the next level. If your open to advice then you can take it there...if you're not then it's on you.
I'm not on here to compete with anybody I enjoy what I do and I'm comfortable with the way I draw. But I can "teach" or at least assist.
I make over 100k a year just being the artist that I am.....peace and keep it up man....(again I wasn't beefing)

That work is good man! That Halley is on point. I own a few shops here in Houston and San Antonio so my business is a little different than most folks. I'm the guy that runs "Caricature and airbrush" shops...that coupled with freelance work gets me over the 100k mark.
The problem I see nowadays with brothers who have art skills is that they don't draw enough. They treat it like a major hobby versus actual work. The only way to get better is to do it constantly and daily. Also get some books like that one cat said. No one person has it all. You need to go back to the basics sometimes and read! Even those "How to draw animal" books from back in the day are helpful.

I still got that "How to draw animal" around here somewhere.Yeh man its been awhile, but i had a couple of 18x12 pads full of Patrick Nagel inspired stuff. Once i started messing with the computer, i forgot about drawing.
Guess it might be time to pull out the ol pad and get back at it.

Well if you're looking to get distracted... it's ridiculously easy to get chicks naked if you're an artist. My friend has nude models al the time. You get to take pics, video... whatever. Then you have a nice little homegrown collection goiong.
