My thinking is, just like my dialog with tallblack, when the statistical assessment is very close, THEN you go to intangibles. You don't discount one over the other. Both Oscar and LeBron are dominant players statistically so you have to then move to other deciding factors... that's why you can't view Horry or Manu as an all time great just on the strength of their chips...

Role players don't have to put up stat like stars to be effective, as long as Love forced his man to honor his outside shot, he is doing his job, regardless if he is making them... Now if his man was to start peeling off of him and packing the paint, then Love is failing at his job... The same can be said about JR also..
What made Love a very good role player is that not only was he able to clear the lane he also was able to grab down tough rebounds.. Now a lot of this don't show up in the stats sheet, so it may fly above your head, but this is what I warned you about over the past two years and all you and your dumb friends did was laugh calling it silly..
