Character's death in a movie that (almost) brought u to tears?

I left that out of my thread because too many people mentioned it.

When I came home from the movies...I buried my Optimus Prime in my back yard...When he came back I went to go get that shit...he had roots wrapped up around him with bugs and shit...I was like NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

yeah all these almost got me ESPECIALLY the Ricky killing and family reaction, i was sitting in the movie and had to hold back the tears when the mom screamed at cube "what did you dooooooo" and then started hitting him saying "you did this":(:(

Actually, any man who doesn't cry has severe psychological issues. It's a natural part of being a human being. You could probably use some kind of professional help, since you're clearly on some sort of dangerous, aggressively-macho trip that's really of no use to us civilized folks.

(BTW, odds are you'll be the first to cry like a little baby if you ever get locked up in jail.)

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

I'll bite, just cause I see I ain't the only one...

Not in a movie but a video game. Final Fantasy VII, I dam near choked up when Aeris got merked… kept thinking she'd come back. :(

Radio Raheem was real.

the one that really got to me was when ricky got killed in boys in the hood

Bambi's Mom.

Nemo's Mom.

The Lion King's Dad, Mufasa.

(Damn, they stay killing off some parents at Disney, don't they???

Oh yeah, Ester Rolle in Rosewood

crying over crackas..

I don't cry over movies, however when these characters died I felt something. Officer Hodges was heartfelt because my dad is a retired officer and when that movie was out I was a youngin (I was 11). Seeing that made me hope and pray my dad didn't get merc'd.

Don't open your mouth without knowing the whole story BITCH!!

Everything isn't about race or color to me DICKHEAD....some of us are more mature than that.

As for Mr. Corleone...........

He was the man!!

crying at real life issues is one thing blunt, but crying over some make believe isn't something that i do. it has nothing to do with machismo or anything. it 's just that i recognize that none of this shit is really happening, therefore my emotions can only go but so far. you are right, crying is necessary, and very human, but for me not in movies.

Porn is "make believe" too, but I bet you still get an emotional (and physical) reaction to what you see.

it has nothing to do with machismo or anything.

PROUDLY proclaiming that you don't cry (and that you think only simps do) certainly does have to do with [fake-ass] machismo. Clearly, some folks are more moved by sad artistic expression than others are. That only shows their humanity and empathy. I'd rather stick with the folks who cry than those who trash crying yet get all excited by Scarface or New Jack City. They're no different from the "simps" in that they are reacting to "make believe" storytelling and filmmaking, only in a potentially negative way.

i disagree. i think my emotions are just in check. i don't get drawn into movies and books. i take them for the entertaining value only. now if someone i know dies, or whatever, i might certainly cry, scream or whatever. i'm not trying to project manliness, i'm just saying that fake things don't get me all riled up.... pornos are something different..... they are really fucking.... nobody is really dying in these movies...

When the little girl got killed in "Strapped". Shit like that happens way too often in real life!

 Not laughing at your choice, just laughing at the memory. This was a brutal film that did not necessarily trigger my emotions, but I have never seen so many black men leaving the theater with glassy watery eyes, or crying. I believe I even heard a "Damn dog, they fucked Jesus up!" :smh::lol::lol::lol:

LOL, same here. I saw it with two of my boys who were watching for a class. When they were flogging him I was like  I was thinking "don't blink don't blink," LOL! When we film ended people were balling! I mean crying their eyes out!

When we left out the theater we didn't say shit to each other till we were halfway to the car. I broke the silence, "Man... I almost cried about three times..." My boys chimed in: "Man me too! I thought I was the only one!"

fuck yall man but even though in 7 pounds we all knew he was gonna kill himself when he actually did it was like damn.(i did choke up):eek::smh::smh::confused::confused: was the pussy that good???

have to agree. im surprised that wasnt said a while ago. when i saw the title thats the first recent movie i thought of. I still cant believe that movie hit me like that. i wont watch it anymore after that little spill but still good movie nonetheless. lot of other honorable mentions here too like leon, jet li, boyz n the hood.
