Change ONE decision and Hillary would have been the Nominee

WHAT WOULD THE PRIMARIES LOOKED LIKE IF HILLARY CHANGED ONE BAD DECISION?

Had she taken the caucuses seriously instead of Obama winning 11 straight states in Feb after super Tuesday he would have probably only won 6 or 7...

Remember they fought Feb 5 to a tie..he won the most states but she won the big states and they kinda offset each other but she still had the delegate lead but not by much. Had she won say 5 of those 11 remaining states in Feb. she would have come out STILL with a slight delegate lead and a huge super delegate lead of over 100+.

Being the front runner at this point she wouldn't have felt the need to "throw the kitchen sink" at him and the primaries wouldn't have devolved into the slash and burn tactics we saw...at least not so obviously.

Rev Wright would have still leaked but being the second place holder the news would have had a much more devastating effect on his campaign..Bosnia would have still come out but being the front runner and having momentum the effects would have minimized. Because she is the front runner and the Clinton Brand is pretty much in power NO super delegates would have left her. Although after the Wright incident with Obama he may have leaked some of his.

Hillary would have continued taking bigger state primaries and then her lead would have been cemented by around late April, early may. Obama wouldn't have contested MI and FL as hard and neither would Hillary. The black voting base would have been disappointed by not surprised by how the contest was shaping up.

Around mid May Obama would have been asked by the media and colleagues to concede for party unity..he would have. And the rest of the primaries would have been superfluous.

Hillary would be BEAMING on the last of the primaries and the debate now would be who would be her VP.. Obama would be at the top of the list considering he gave her a good run in the primaries and he has the black vote locked up and she would need that to get into the white house...much like her husband did.

Whether or not she would actually CHOOSE Obama would be the question.

that isnt what she did wrong. She honestly didnt take Obama or Edwards seriously. She thought she had it wrapped up on her name alone. She didnt even think the race would last past super tuesday. It was her arrogance that screwed her.

And voting for the Iraq war/not apologizing for it. Can't forget that as well.

It wasn't that she didn't take Obama or Edwards seriously. The real mistake was that she didn't understand how much the people really want changed, thus allowing the people take Obama seriously.

1.) the biggest was mich/florida if she would have started last year to get them seated after they were decertified. she waited to the end of the primaries to get them seated when she realized she was short of delegates. Those 2 states fully seated would have given her a big pad.

2.)caucuses

3.) she lacked a consistent message- bish was the experienced, insider, outsider, fighter, consensus getter, pro nafta, anti-nafta, blue colored multi-millionair. she tried to please everyone

I have to also say that her arrogance cost her; also the fact that she didn't bow out once it was known that there was no way for her to win..

A few lies here and there didn't help her case either; and we can't forget about the RFK statement..

Hiring Mark Penn. Every problem can be traced back to him. He's the guy who didn't know the Democrats didn't have a winner take all system. He created no message. He told her to go until the convention. He was a lobbyist for Colombia. Telling her change won't work but inevitably will. Spending a good chunk of her money in Iowa.

Clinton supporter says campaign aide looked to use racial tension

CAMDEN, N.J. (AP) — A Democratic congressman is accusing Hillary Rodham Clinton's campaign of trying to exploit tensions between Jews and blacks.

New Jersey Congressman Rob Andrews was a Clinton supporter. But he tells the Newark Star-Ledger that a call from a top member of Clinton's organization shortly before the Pennsylvania primary disturbed him. The New Jersey Democrat says the Clinton aide explicitly discussed a strategy of winning Jewish voters by exploiting racial tensions.

The paper quotes Andrews as saying "there have been signals coming out of the Clinton campaign that have racial overtones." He declined to identify the caller by name, but says it was "a high-ranking person in the campaign." Andrews says the call came after he angered the Clinton camp by making positive comments about Obama.

The Star-Ledger quotes a Clinton spokesman a denying the accusation, and calling it "sad and divisive."

A LOT of it goes back to her making choices like this..picking people because of loyalty as opposed to picking the best team. I was shocked that dude thought that winning all the big states would seal the deal because he didn't realize the dems had a proportional delegate system :eek::lol::lol:

But truth is... she didn't have one mistake that costed her.. it was a series of them...
