"Cavemen" premieres on ABC tonite

i give it at least 3 episodes.. unless they bring the Geico gecko in for sweeps LOL

i bet there will be a episode where one of the Cavemen meets a girl who turns out to be not all whom she appears..after she insults the others,he kicks her to the curb saying something like"..and next time, maybe you should do a little more
research.." and she walks out the door while the audience applauds loudly and cheers

I watched the first episode a few weeks ago...It was straight trash. I couldn't even get through it.

eeeehhhh

although the line

"my room mate has this thing about cavemen dating Homosapiens"

had me

Damn I didn't know it was coming on tonight. :smh:

It's 8:20 now.

I'll watch it online tomorrow.

Yabba Dabba Doo! - It does seem like a long geico commercial.
Im expecting Geico logo to pop up after every scene.

I thought it was pretty funny:lol: Especially when the one was like...I got boxes and oranges in my car:lol::lol:

I was lookin at that shit thinkin "Is this shit supposed to be comedy or drama?"

Not one laugh out loud line. And how come the dude from the commercial only pop up twice for a second?

The original Geico commercials "So easy a caveman could do it." I think were a metaphor for black folks.

Everybody knows that the caveman, the original man, was a black man!

The cave dudes have changed...they don't even look the same...

Because they aren't the dudes from the commercial. One has a show on TBS and they decided not to go after the other two. I probably would have watched if they got the original guys, but not now. :smh:

I too wanted to see the actors from the commercial. But it wasn't bad. I got a few laughs in.

Carpoolers was kinda funny too.

The dialog kept me watching. Good dialog. But they should have the dude from the commercials cuz he really made them shits funny.

This is the dude who made the commercials a success and they should have gotten him to do the series no matter what. The whole formula is different now :smh:

Neanderthal

neanderthal.jpg

in 1848 a strange skull was discovered on the military outpost of Gibraltar.

It was undoubtedly human, but also had some of the heavy features of an ape... distinct brow ridges, and a forward projecting face.

Just what was this ancient creature? And when had it lived? As more remains were discovered one thing became clear, this creature had once lived right across Europe.

The remains were named Homo neanderthalensis (Neanderthal man) an ancient and primitive form of human.

The archaeological evidence revealed that the earliest Neanderthals had lived in Europe about 200,000 years ago.

But then, about 30,000 years ago, they disappeared... just at the time when the first modern humans appear in Europe.

The story has it that our ancestors, modern humans, spread out of Africa about 100,000 years ago with better brains and more sophisticated tools. As they spread into Neanderthal territory, they simply out-competed their primitive cousins.

In the Treaty of Tordesillas, Spain and Portugal divided the world outside Europe between them. That was not the first time that two rival groups carved up the globe. More than 50,000 years ago, all the world outside Africa was divided between two archaic human species

I watched the first episode a few weeks ago...It was straight trash. I couldn't even get through it.

....and after tonight I agree with you.....I made it to 10 minutes....struggled for 3 more.....and turned that crap off.......:smh::hmm:....midnight struck reeeeal eearly for this shit..."The Fat Lady has truly sung....:hmm:

Two of the original cavemen were in the first episode. One was the weatherman, the other was their friend who played tennis and fucked the white girl

It was just all right. Typical sitcom fare that just happens to be about Cavemen. And in an extended format, it's kind of hard not to make the racial allusions a little more obvious. Although I have to admit there were a few truly funny lines in there. "Keep your penis in your genus" was classic.

The show that came after it, Carpoolers, will probably end up being a sleeper hit. Solid cast, solid premise, and each one of those guys is a different shade of crazy. Now if only people will notice before it fades to nothing...

Oh my God! I have never thought that caveman meant black man! Some of ya'll white folks have brainwashed some of ya'll to the point of no return...Every time you see "planet of the apes" you think it's a metaphor for "black people". STFU!
