I'm obviously going to see it.
I've been a fan of Ms. Marvel/Captain Marvel/Carol Danvers since the early70s.
But Brie Larson still doesn't convince me.
And I was holding out for Jessica Chastain or Bryce Dallas Howard.
Maybe if Larson wore THIS outfit, I might be a bit more excited...

Just like i thought and I thought this dude was a true fan but he just a faker. He said nothing about Monica Rambeau but ok. Now I know she has to have access to her Binary form which is a cosmic powered entity cause regular old MS Marvel wasn't able to traverse space unprotected so that's why she is so overpowered but still.....I'm not getting how she alone could save anything when Thor has a God blow that can kill Gods and demigods.

Monica Rambeau's origin and tenure as Captain Marvel actually has NOTHING to do with Captain Mar-vell, Carol Danvers or The Kree.
She got her initial powers after being exposed to extra dimensional energy after physically destroying a power grid.

Then why put Photon mom in the film? Why did she take the name of Captain Marvel then? Ms Marvel history is re written and trust me, I know comics and Photon's origin. That's your opinion.
As far as Danvers origin, no she doesn't have much to do with that but taking the name Captain Marvel for Rambeau has it's own story.
Again, Monica Rambeau's tenure as Captain Marvel had nothing to do with the Kree nor the Mar-vell storyline.
However; I imagine that Marvel's decision to include her in this film is primarily because:
- She successfully wore the mantle of "Captain Marvel" for a number of years as a member of The Avengers.
- This is Marvels 1st big screen, female led, female empowerment film and having a Black female (costar) will only serve to enhance the story.
- For those of us who know her history; her presence in the film will serve as a nod (and acknowledgement) to the long time fans and buffs.
I don't believe the guy who put that YouTube video together was intentionally excluding Rambeau as some form of slight or racism.
It's because Monica's story does not rely on Mar-vell's or Danvers storyline.
Monica is her OWN person.

And who's to say they won't reference Kamla Khan's (the current Ms. Marvel) family in this film as well....?

yeah her voice is annoying.
By the look of the trailer it may not be Marvel's best movie. It will be a hit because women will go see it. I see it making between $100-160 million opening weekend. They are trying to make her the most powerful character in the Marvel cinematic Universe to attract the females and I don't think the actress can portray her that way, she doesn't look it.
