This has been discussed a lot by many different gaming media sites and YouTubers. This happens to EVERY company who treats consumers, and treats gamers wrong, EA lost their CEO due to money related issues and Capcom is going bankrupt. Both companies have faced a lot of controversy, for example it's pretty clear Capcom killed Megaman, but the death of Resident Evil is not too far along as well. They released DLC for Street Fighter X Tekken and the content was already on the disc but you could not access it unless you bought the DLC. As for Monster Hunter and their other good series of games, those will easily be bought out, just like what happened with THQ's series. Maybe even put into better hands. Capcom has said they will focus on DLC as of now, kind of funny how they go to what killed them to revive them. Either way it isn't looking good for Capcom, their stocks are going down and only 152 million in the bank. 152 million may seem like a lot to you and me, but for a company, and one in the gaming industry, that money goes fast. I don't want to see companies go, but if they don't then companies will begin to take advantage of gamers, and the power will transfer from gamers to companies producing garbage and gamers having no where to go. What are your thoughts? Can Capcom save themselves? Do you want Capcom to go or to stay. Let us know

I know Blackbuster just seems like he's hating, but I understand. When you keep putting out duds and on top of that, you charge for so many for additions and nickle & dime your consumers...you want people to stop literally buying into that shit so it doesn't become the norm. I'm glad they are losing, esp while a company that actually puts out a good effort and doesn't nickle & dime you like R* is now beyond successful.

:smh:Man ive been a big capcom fan for years but they started fucking up to me. When resident evil turned into call of duty. I didnt care to much about there fighting games. The only strret fighter I played to death was SUPER STREET FIGHTER II on the snes. The only reason I bought ultimate marvel vs capcom 3 was because of the hype. Hopefully they can recover but I dont see it happening.

MvC3 was terrible imo. Way too fast pace, I don't even know what was going on half the time and I was still beating some decent players on that game. But honestly, this really all started when they figured out they could just keep re-releasing SFII with different names for the same reg price and people would buy the shit. I may not have been the biggest SF fan but damn, how many times can they keep selling the same old game with a different name and maybe, MAYBE they added another character or two in one of those revamped SF2s.

i really only cared about streetfighter
and they only seemed to care about forcin people to buy them $150 arcade pads and gimmicky DLC so fuck em

They better come out with Street Fighter 5
Why? So they can milk that shit for 5 years with Ultra, Super, Mega, and Ultimate editions that add shit that could've been in the first fucking release? Fuck that! Let Crapcom die! They've failed their fans for far too long. All their good, original game creators left years ago and formed Platinum Games. Shinji Mikami is making his own shit now as is the dude who created Mega Man. Capcom is DONE! They can't even release a properly balanced fighting game anymore (MvC3, SF x Tekken, etc). Even Mortal Kombat, Skill Girls, Persona 4 Arena, BlazeBlu and other fighters have overshadowed Capcom's best fighers. And honestly, I love Street Fighter, but the DLC RAPE they pulled with us over the past 2 years is unforgiveable. And now they're going to release Free2Play games. Capcom and Free2Play...don't trust it! That in-game shit is going to be overpriced as fuck. Some Free2Play games end up costing 3-5 times what you'd pay for buying the initial game itself.

DIE Capcom, DIE!
