Hyundai has been making excellent vehicles for the last few years now. My friend drives an Azera and swears it's the best car he's ever owned.

No doubt. But they're also making cars that run well and throwing a ton of upgrades into mid-level sedans. Those cats have been gaining momentum for a while now.

They've really come a long way. They're gaining in market share because they're making quality cars at a reasonable price. If American manufacturers would do the same they'd still be on top, but the greedy bastards won't and yet can't understand why people ain't buying their shit like they used to. 
My neighbor has one.. its a nice ass car. It rides a lot better than I expected it to.

In the beginning you had to be careful because you thought somebody on the assembly line at the Mercedes plant left all the symbols of the E-classes, LOL. For sure I thought there was patent infringement.

I've had my hyundai 2001 tiburon since 2003 (used)and it's still running good. Thinking of looking for a new car and meant stick with Hyundai.
If they keep at it they will. Infact couple yrs ago, toyota came out and said they were scared of hyundai more than anyone else.
I'd whip the HELL outta an Equus for $25 racks 
heard it comes with a refrigerator in the car and back & front cameras 4 parking
not to mention that it comes with a laptop with wifi in the trunk!!!
but i had my bad days with 90's hyundais and vow to never get one... but the late 2000 models have held up pretty well mechanically

And Lexus got its start ripping off mercedes. White folks and dealers have done it for years. Once they got the capital, then they will do something legit.
Last year at a car show the Equis had the softest interior i've ever felt.Just last month while driving I saw a car that looked kinda like the Lexus LS.I couldn't keep my eyes off of it because it was so clean but the owner too the emblems off of it.Saw one emblem and googled it.It was an Equis.Shit was ridiculously clean.I'd get a used one.

they had the bootleg jags with the xg series which became the sonata series which copied the accord and the VW cc/benz. shit the chrys 300 is clearley a bentley knock off an mofos act like copying designs is new shit ALL comps have done it at some point.
Equis was fire . . . got new found respect for hyundai after rentin the sonata a couple times . . .for the price man that shit is nice!!
