Canelo Alvarez Vs Jermell Charlo Sept 30

Because a fighter loses a fight don't make the trainer a bad trainer. Coach James is a great coach. With Charlo, Canelo has two much weight. With Spence, I bet he over trained in that damn heat. You can't do that shit when you get older, plus, the weight class. Spence is too big for the weight class. I think the rematch will be a lot more even. I even give Spence a chance at winning. This is rather he stays with Coach James or not. Frankly, I think it was a fluke. We will see when the rematch comes. Yet, James is a great coach. Its hard to take a kid from nothing and make him a world champion. He did that with Spence.
It remains to be seen but these fighters don't seem to match up well with better fighters.

Spence did all that talking and believed he was the better boxer and had a lot of us myself included fooled because we never thought that fight was gonna go the way it did and after spence lost the excuses came in but spence himself wasn't gonna allow no excuses after he lost. The things you mentioned Derrick james had his fighters doing under him should ring an alarm and sometimes moving on from a trainer could be the best that ever happened for a fighter.

Charlo did a lot defense moving around the ring but his punches didn't land as much as canelo and dude seem scared being in that ring, he really didn't fight with some urgency to win.

I just think spence and charlo just don't be properly prepared when it comes to these mega fights. Which is why a lot of fans leave disappointed feeling like they didn't get their money's worth.

Oh, and one last thing, spence is gonna have to fight crawford at 147 again for the rematch.

Nah that's coaching, everybody knows Canelo loves to go to the body, you train your fight for that and to counter it. He should've let his hands go but he was too scared to get them ribs tapped
I will say this, from the few rounds I did stay and watch the corner James was telling him the right things to do, throw combos, let the jab fly, smother him..... basically everything needed to make a good show of it. He may not have won, but following Benavidez' blueprint would have made for a better fight and at least a challenge to Canelo.....

Dude would not throw his hands.....up until the 6th round the most punches landed was like 10.....

10 my G, 10.....you're not trying to win a fight landing only 10 punches in a round, any round

I think Crawford is just as tired of making 147 as Spence is. I could see him asking for 147 but making more demands (more $$) to go to 154.

With the way that last fight went, I'm really not sure Spence should be boxing so soon.....

Dude needs to re-evaluate some things.....why he got red so quick, all the damage he took in the ring, if he properly healed from both crashes....get some CT scans, climb a mountain or something anything other than fight that man again

Nah, crawford said that he'll only move up in weight if spence can't do 147 with proof from his team.

Bruh, Spence and Charlo were the two best fighters in their weight classes. Spence held three of the four belts. Charlo owned all of the belts in his weight class. They both knocked out their last opponents before their recent losses. You can't do shit like that if you aren't well prepared for fights. Derrick James is a bad ass dude and his fighters are too. I can't comment on the fight tonight because I didn't see it, but I will see it and comment on it later. I will admit I didn't like that training in the heat this summer. Texas was hella hot. I think that was part of the problem. Plus, I think he overtrained. I had a feeling that this would be the case. Further, the word is Spence came in injured, so that also could be the issue. Nonetheless, whatever the problem was it ain't a coach issue. The fighter has to follow the instructions of his coach. If he does that most times he will win. Not saying every time, but most times.
