I have three lines I just canceled one of them. The other one, I had suspended, but I got them to turn it back on. They said I don't qualify to cancel on that line because I hadn't sent any text messages, but I'll text a few messages, then call back to cancel. The 3rd line I'm on month-to-month, so I was gonna take it over to Metro...and I still might...but I'm still thinking about it.
Here's what I had...
3 lines w/ T-Mobile (was paying $85/mo before I added the third line, so I have no clue what the new bill would have been)
1 Grandcentral line (it's through Google...and it's free)
1 home phone line ($14.57/mo through BellSouth, lifeline credit)
1 FreeDigits Number (free as well)
This is what I'm going to:
1 line w/ T-Mobile (or Metro) - $40-50/mo)
1 magicjack line ($40/1st year, $20/yr thereafter)
Keeping the Grandcentral #
Keeping the FreeDigits number
No more home phone through BellSouth and no more multiple lines through T-Mobile. Phone bills should be right @ $50/mo, so yearly total will be ~$620. If I could get 3 more people to go in with me on a MetroPCS family plan ($100/mo for 4 lines), then I'd save $25/mo, or $300/yr. I know peeps hate giving up their lines, but economics is speaking to a brotha, and I'm tired of paying money for stuff!!
