Can you live off 30k in Dallas, TX?

I know where you can get a cheap lil studio apt for 500. Now you need to kinda explain to me what you mean by "decent lil life". Because....i mean we have different views i guess. You can get the hook up on cable, you'd have to pay your internet though. If you have a car you got it set up pretty nice. Dallas is a big city to get around in. You should first make sure you have a job before you move out here. And then figure out where it is in relation to where you could be living. The spot i'm talking about is in Lancaster, it's south of Dallas but 20 min from downtown.
