Can a TV Show Or Movie Series Last If The Cast Hate Each Other? [Porn Inside]

I am asking about Chemistry. Friends had a 10 year run and the cast had a pretty good relationship with each other. Shit, they still get along good from what I hear. Scrubs was my favorite show in the 2000's and they had mad love for each other on and off the set.

I remember hearing of chemistry issues with Living Single and other shows where there was angst building up between several of the characters. Shit, Two and a Half Men's cast must be hating the fuck out of Charlie Sheen right now for hitting them in the pockets.

How many shows have lasted multiple years, good years when there is tension between the cast or when they flat out hate each other's guts? Can you name shows that had cast battles where the show continued to be successful in spite of the fights going on when the cameras weren't running?

Now the Scrubs Finale

Scrubs is/was one of my favorite shows. It didn't get love from the Neillsen TV ratings. Scrubs was always funny to me, and the last episode IMO did not disappoint. Few shows get to go out on their own terms. The Cosby Show did. Friends did. Cheers did. But some shows like Bernie Mac they just kept them on long enough and said "Hey, we got enough shows for syndication...let's kill it mid-season. They never got to say goodbye. Scrubs got it's chance when they went to ABC for it's final season. It brought back people who were on the show in the past and even kind of looked into the future a bit. And we even got the Janitor's name...kinda.

I talked to my co-worker who watches it with her daughter and her daughter cried at the end. Then she watched it again the next day and cried at the end again. I didn't cry, but I will miss the show. I have every season on DVD so I can watch it when I want, but this series finale IMO was one of the greatest finales ever.

Shit, I'm not talking about reality TV. I hardly consider that TV at all. The only reality show I ever watched was ESPN's first season of "Dream Job". The rest is total bullshit from that Real World crap. Not American Eye Sore or any of it. I mean real TV shows with scripts and actual actors who didn't just get picked up off the street.

Sarah jessica parker and kim catrall reported hated each other and that show lasted 5 years and 2 movies..

bea arthur and betty white reported didn't get along on golden girls and that ran for a good while

marla gibbs and jackee harry was rumored to not get along...from what i understand jackee's ego got on everyone's nerves at that time.

remember redd foxx famously had a spat with his producers over mony and his dressing room during the middle of sanford and sons successful run (those were the episodes you saw grady "watching the house while fred was in st. louis).

Moonlighting - Cybil Shepard and Bruce Willis grew to hate each other and the show caved a few seasons later.

3s Company - Suzanne Somers and Joyce Dewitt STILL don't talk over that show...and it was pretty successful considering they changes a few actors on that show.

i was gonna say 3's Company.
also, no one seemed to get along w/ Shannon Daughtery on 90210 & that lasted.....even though they got rid of the cancer. i remember Luke Perry telling a story that he hated her so much they were supposed to do a kissing scene so all day he didn't brush his teeth. yeah, i watched 90210.....SO WHAT!!!

Vivian Vance and William Frawley

Vivian hated Bill for a number of reasons: (1) she resented being cast as the wife of a man who was old enough to be her..um, uncle. He was at least 20 years her senior. (2) She resented his less-polished musical style, given that she was a Broadway gal and Frawley was a pure vaudevillian; but most important was that (3) Frawley hated her even more! He thought she couldn't sing worth a lick and was a royal pain in the a__, always complaining about some little slight or indignity that he would toss at her.

The two were given the opportunity to move into their own "Fred and Ethel" spin-off once "Lucy" had run its course in 1959. Despite his animosity towards her, Frawley saw a lucrative opportunity and was quite game, but Vance nixed the idea, having no interest in ever working with Frawley again. Vance got her own series, "Guestward Ho!" (1960), which failed, but went on to make sporadic appearances on Lucille Ball's sitcoms and in films throughout the 1960's. Frawley hit it big as Bub on "My Three Sons" (1960).
