Hulk Hogan Slams Obama Over N-Word
The ex-wrestler, who was caught on videos saying very racist things and is persona non grata at the WWE, retweeted a boneheaded tweet Sunday night about Obama’s use of the N-word.

In case you missed it, late Thursday night, World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) mysteriously scrubbed all mentions of arguably its most famous wrestler ever, Hulk Hogan, from its websites and online stores. We later learned that the WWE had, in their words, “terminated its contract” with Hulkster over a racist tirade caught during one of his three sex tapes in his ongoing $100 million case against Gawker Media.
According to the National Enquirer, Hogan complains to the woman on the sex tape, Heather Clem, about an unnamed billionaire black man who offered to help bankroll his daughter Brooke’s music career. “I mean, I’d rather if she was going to fuck some ******, I’d rather have her marry an 8-foot-tall ****** worth a hundred million dollars! Like a basketball player!” Hogan reportedly said. “I guess we’re all a little racist. Fucking ******.”
Hogan has since issued numerous apologies—as one does—saying to People magazine, “This is not who I am. I believe very strongly that every person in the world is important and should not be treated differently based on race, gender, orientation, religious beliefs or otherwise. I am disappointed with myself that I used language that is offensive and inconsistent with my own beliefs.”
Since then, several of Hogan’s pals—presumably at his behest—have offered their support to Hulkster, coming out and saying he’s no racist. Hogan’s retweeted support from Kim Jong-un BFF Dennis Rodman, WWE’s Virgil, WWE’s Mick Foley, and domestic abuser Tito Ortiz.
But on Sunday night, he retweeted the following to his 1.35 million followers: “Bi-racial President Obama uses N word, is applauded and keeps his job. @HulkHogan uses N word, is vilified and loses his job.”
President Obama, of course, used the N-word to communicate a lesson during a frank discussion about race in America with Marc Maron for his podcast WTF with Marc Maron. “Racism, we are not cured of it. And it's not just a matter of it not being polite to say ****** in public,” Obama said, refusing to mince words. “That's not the measure of whether racism still exists or not. It's not just a matter of overt discrimination. Societies don't, overnight, completely erase everything that happened 200 to 300 years prior.”
Some serious false equivalence here on the part of Hulk Hogan, and a pretty appalling display overall.
