According to the Hollywood star requirements - "To get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, a celebrity must be nominated by someone, agree to the nomination, and meet criteria including professional achievement, longevity in the entertainment field (at least five years), community contributions, and the willingness to attend the dedication ceremony.

Busta started his entertainment journey in 1986 with Leaders of the New School" Oh yeah, most importantly- there is a non-refundable application fee of $250 and a sponsorship fee of $75,000 if the nominee is selected to get them spots. I'm sure Busta checked all them boxes to get his star.
