Not flame broiled anymore?

... you put them on a metal conveyer which takes them through a flame broiler for about 2-3 feet... when they fall out the other end onto a metal tray... that's the flame broiling.... you put the buns through another level of the same broiler and it toasts them, coming out with the burgers ... they even got a Burger King University for training in Florida.... I didn't go to that... wasn't planning on making the job a life long event... it was a job between jobs

Who remembers the burger King commercial that said it takes 2 hands to handle a whopper. The two-fisted burger at burger King? Damn I'm getting old lol

The only places as far as fast foods are concerned seems to be mom n pops joints... the size stayed the same at most joints i go to, but the price has risen... im ok with that..thats y i cant understand bk or micky d's.... go up on the price but i still need the same product as a consumer...

.Their logic is that you won't notice the size difference if done gradually like @TENT didn't notice.... think about it... even if they only did it an eighth of an ounce at a time over years... chances are you wouldn't notice... but that small change... in millions of burgers a week equals $$$ saved .... all without raising the price of the burger ..... which the average consumer would notice immediately

Exactly... same trick with the fries.... every basket of them... the same size basket in most restaurants... gets salted.... ask for them with no salt

you you used to drive by a BK and would see and smell the smoke
not anymore

The restaurant's they haven't modernize (made smaller) still have it but, there aren't many left we have two here and you can taste the difference.
