Trends come and go, from: clothing, slang to behavior. I’m starting a list, serious and funny, of the behaviors I don’t wanna see in 2024–add yours.

Number one: the hospital selfie.

Folks laid up, tubes in, sad face into the camera. “☹️ God got me!” Or the “ I guess you can how my night went.” We know they took 20 shots with different facial expressions and angles. Nigga, just get well. :lol: Bitches asking the dental hygienist to take a pic for em. These people can’t stand you. A homey posted himself on a gurney being loaded into an ambulance. Nigga you got time for portraits, maybe you didn’t need to call 911. Nigga really took an “inside the ambulance” shot with the thumbs up, like when NFL players get taken off the field on a cart. Nigga, you cut your finger dicing onions. :smh:

Leave that shit in 2023.

When my sister was in the hospital this summer I was on selfie patrol. I was telling everyone that showed up “No pics!” I told her to tell people that if I see a pic of her with those tubes on her on any platform, I’m busting heads. I’m sure she phrased it differently, but I wasn’t having it.
 
Not raising your kids with any standards. That included you guys who gave up fighting for your kids and let her raise em to be ratchet. Stay involved, have an opinion. Guide them. How people leave the house these days makes me wish for a rooftop sniper.

Like this thread. My 2 cents. Veneers the shade of correction fluid and not proportioned to the mouth. Least make them shit somewhat believable, not like you got a box of Chicklets in your mouth. Adding to the bonnets, pajamas, pillows, and blankets when flying/walking through an airport like they're going to bed. Trifling as hell and its 90% us. Men being/acting overly feminine, more female than naturally born females with the sashaying, exaggerated inflection in their speech, over the top attitude, and same with females acting/looking more masculine than genetically born males. I call it the stud starter kit. Dreads or lowboy, wifebeater, boxers, multiple tats on the arms, neck, legs. Shit is wild to me.

All facts. Chicks wave their arms around like Method Man when they speak. It’s annoying as hell. You don’t need to act out every word; just say it. I cut a chick for coming to my building in pajama bottoms. I don’t bend on my standards. This is all apart or the “I just wanna be comfortable” generation.
