Browns release Odell

His ass could end up on the Jags or Dolphins. Any team can claim him off waivers. I believe it goes by record. Can't remember if it's current or previous record.

those teams ain’t gonna pony up 7 million for a player that will be a FA in the off-season

My point is he could end up in a worst situation this season. I'm not saying he's wrong for wanting away from Baker, but it's still early enough that there's a few bad teams that still have hope this season.

This isn't going to end well for the Browns I noticed the last couple of games Baker says something to a player on the sideline and they completely ignore him and don't make eye contact I've seen Chubb do it once and 2 other times with different players. I think that locker room is split I see Deshaun Watson playing QB for my Browns if he doesn't go to jail which he most likely won't.

It's all about being in the right situation. They said the same thing about Randy Moss when he was with the Raiders that you are saying about Odell. Well, you see what happened when Moss then went to the Patriots; he was a nightmare to every other team's secondary for the next four years.

As far as him staying hurt you fail to mention he only got hurt trying to make a tackle on the guy who intercepted a typically underthrown pass from the real lightweight Baker Mayfield. OBJ may be a prima donna but he can still ball and Baker can't throw for shit :hmm:

Until Odell grows the fuck up I don't see any team wasting their time or money on him. He wants to be the primary receiver. Yet he appears to have the resiliency of a potato chip, he's gotten hurt every season.

The problem is players don't dictate their wants to their coaches. QBs don't even have that luxury. Great talent but an overinflated opinion of himself. OBJ has now been released from 2 different teams for similar reasons. Seems like he's not a team player but a player who wants big numbers now to get bigger paychecks later. But his completion rate is one of the worst in the league. Plus Odell didn't want to stay in Cleveland. Guess the town is too blue collar. OBJ wants to play in a city like Los Angeles, big lights and stars.

One thing is certain, OBJ is playing himself into retirement.

As for Baker he's their franchise player he's going nowhere.

I wouldn't be surprised

Odell needs a QB who believes in him and will take chances. Baker is an idiot QB. He may not be an idiot or dummy as a person but as a QB, he's just an idiot. Odell needs a Tom Brady or an Aaron Rodgers. Someone who doesn't bail out of the pocket unnecessarily and make terrible decisions. Baker is like Eli during the regular season. He just sit and stare at the TV like WHAT THE FUCK WAS THIS GUY THINKING! ALL I SEE IS THE OPPONENT.

Odell is a generational talent. Yes, he's a bit undersized for the position but my guy gets open with ease and makes ridiculous catches. Baker is scared to make the throws and believe in Odell. He tries to wait until Odell is like 70% done with his route but gets sacked or flushed out before then.

Actually the whole team was happy for Odell when he got that payday from the giants..they literally all danced in the locker room when they heard the news.. no teammate wanted Odell gone when he got kicked off the giants that was solely upper management or coaching staff.. the media like to portray a extra hype or dancing player in a negative light...they tried to shit on moss, they tried to shit on Ocho cinco.. they don’t like outspoken players.. Odell is a threat he just hates when they don’t utilize him to help his team win.. kinda like if steph curry was open for a 3 all game and they don’t pass him the ball once and cause of that his team loses

Interesting. Eli Manning receivers never seem to find success after leaving New York. Hakeem Nicks (He was a beast) Victor Cruz (he was always hurt) Best of Luck to OBJ. He won't be out of work for long. He might end up in Detroit or Florida though. They got priority on the waiver wire.

Just proves they couldn't be ELIite without Eli. It's funny how they get credit for being great receivers but Eli doesn't get credit for being a great quarterback. Who was throwing them touchdown passes to them lol.

NFL: Giants' Victor Cruz jumped at chance to work with Eli Manning....

Yeah Baker is so good and well thought of by Cleveland management that they are going to franchise him for the next two years or until he shows he deserves the big contract which at this time he doesn't. It is apparent you don't care for Odell but I don't understand why in your estimation Baker doesn't deserve some blame for this situation.

I don't care much for hot dogs and Odell is certainly one but by the same token I don't care for a mediocre quarterback who is largely getting pass for not being able to get the ball to a gifted receiver because he lacks the arm strength and accuracy. Lastly Odell was traded by the Giants not released and by most accounts that was a mistake. The Browns released him because of friction with their quarterback. You say you "don't see any team wasting their time or money on him" Time will tell but I see several other teams will be interested and he'll be on one of them if not this year certainly next year. :hmm:

Everyone mentions how well the Browns played without O'Dell. But they beat 2 teams last year that made the playoffs. Tennessee and Pittsburgh and Pittsburgh was the final game and they didn't play anyone. Yeah they beat Pitt in the playoffs, but that's not the point. They got wins off of under .500 teams.

Can't believe I'm sticking up for O'Dell, but I don't remember any antics, primadonna or diva ways the past 2 seasons. I know he was hurt but besides wearing weird clothes to fashion shows he was quiet. When he was on the field or sideline I didn't even know he was there.

baker was the one in all the commercials and running on the field pumping his arms like he is someone special.

odell will eat with honestly someone like a case keeum lol

He does alot of deep routes and anyone who puts air under the ball will de decent with him, he doesn't do the best routes....

He's mostly crafty and fast off the line he can beat most corners but you gotta air it out so he can run under it.

Lamar will make odell get 2k a year in yards.

Damn ! That photo says it all !
Odell, I think you done hurt Bakee's feeling by giving another QB a pair of your signature cleats before him.
"Hell hath no fury like a QB scorned" with the payback of passes falling short, overthrown passes or no passes at all.
The scorned special needs qb never got over it

Odell has some head issues, weak minded, shows some questionable tendencies, keeps getting hurt, grossly overpaid and I believe he's just the flash in the pan we've all heard about. Lastly he just repeatedly shows questionable judgement in his decision making. I might doom him.

hasn't shown any immaturity in years

Stayed silent and didn't do anything with the Browns...so this is false

Can’t believe the Raiders arent making a push to get him right now, especially considering what they’ve lost already.

The Baker Mayfield hate is funny in this thread.

Baker went out and balled out today with a bum shoulder.

Odds are Odell will be hurt once he is picked up.
