I read up on the guy who wrote the screenplay. I think his name is Michael C Wright. Word is the dude used to work for the subway in NY and wrote movies in his spare time. He submitted the screenplay for Brooklyn's Finest in an online contest for $10,000 but only got 2nd place. Fortunately for him, somehow the director Antoine Fuqua got a hold of it.

Nice one...Good Cast, and happy for Wesley Snipes

Can't wait for this one. Directed by Antoine Fuqua too? Fire

Looks good but remember the this guy directed that movie after Training Day and it sucked,so hopefully he can make a comeback with this one.

What are you specifically talking about?? He's directed a lot of movies since Training Day. He's a basic nuts-and-bolts director. Not a great artist.

wow that's a movie in itself dude wrote screenplay worked on subway , good for him:dance:

STREET KING'S

He didn't direct that. That was directed by the screenwiter of Training Day (as a follow-up to his debut Harsh Times).

Fuqua directed stuff like Tears of the Sun and Shooter. Also worked on American Gangster for a while until he and his production got cancelled, and was later re-done.

Damn who's not making it out of there alive. After the Departed, and all the other undercover cop movies whats going to happen in this one:dance::dance::dance::dance:

I missed this post and was about to drop the trailer. Looks good to me and I can't wait til the BGOL Premier!!!

and I liked Street Kings, whoever directed it.

Good to see Wesley off the black ball list and back in a theatrical release instead of all the Direct to DVD bullshit he's been doing the last 4-5 years.

Hopefully he'll get back in Hollywood's good graces and has mended all the bridges he burnt after Blade 3 fiasco with suing the production company and studio enough so that he'll get back in a major budget film and release.

How could the dude work in any major U.S. productions when he was claiming to be a citizen of South Africa (for tax scam purposes)??? No one black-balled him.
