In regard to the collection of content, that window might be all but closed now, since OF required you to have consent from both parties. Tracking down all those people and getting them to submit forms would be next to impossible. I know from experience

As far as old footage.. people are making money off of remastered content.. old footage is new footage to somebody.. content is always valuable cause you can make money yrs /decades later on it.. hell pornhub/xvideo pays you for footage that people watch for free.. break them down 5-7 min clips and if they get enough views make hundreds to thousands of them...
