I hope he gets the job...Truth is, we will see more black head coaches if they go the Offensive Coordinator route. Whether it's right or wrong is up for debate, but most of the new hires nowadays, these owners want offensive minded HC...

Everyone has a price I guess :dunno::dunno:
As they should! Depending on the situation, you get your bread. No way this isn’t “fuck you” money for her. She may not give two fucks about sports, so why would she care? If I’m the top lawyer, and I can state my price and get it, Flores needs to come with it. Career cases lead to many career cases, I.e, Johnny Cochran, Crump, etc. plus I can get all my partners paid, too, win or lose?!!!? Shiiiiiid! That’s her damn job. I wouldn’t care if she won, the real win is (wait for it….) STOP GIVING RICH RACISTS YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

While I disagree with LL taking this case, I do see your point. The NFL ain't fucking around by hiring LL to be their mouthpiece, it will shift the focus from racism to damn near anything else. It's definitely FUCK YOU money for her but still damn....that's a real Queen tryna checkmate the King move by the NFL against Flores. Shit just got real for the NFL.

Did she say the Los Angeles times and survey monkey?

So Lovie got the job, but had McCown placed on his staff by the owners?

The future interim coach

:( :smh:

Damn bruh...if that don't prove Flores' case, nothing does.

Come on Lovie. How you let em play you like that. I'd quit now in protest, expose the BS, and join the lawsuit.

I hate saying how much money a person has, should have, or needs, but at some point, you'd think a person would have enough cash to say fuck you to bad deals.

NFL ratings are still growing each year, but Republicans are not watching.

TV Ratings: NBC’s Super Bowl LVI Coverage Draws Over 112 Million Viewers

By Mónica Marie Zorrilla

UPDATED: Sunday’s Super Bowl LVI between the Los Angeles Rams and the Cincinnati Bengals drew just over 112 million total viewers on NBC, Telemundo, Peacock, NBC Sports Digital, NFL Digital platforms, and Yahoo Sports mobile properties, and reached 167 million viewers overall. With all of NBC’s muscle, The Rams-Bengals matchup became the most-watched show in 5 years.
“The Super Bowl once again delivered a massive audience, which included NBC and the unmatched power of broadcast television as well as first-ever presentations on Peacock and Telemundo, and led into our most-watched Olympics coverage in four years,” said Mark Lazarus, Chairman, NBCUniversal Television and Streaming, in a statement.

Per Nielsen data, the game averaged 101.1 million traditional TV on NBC and Telemundo. That means this year’s Super Bowl telecast was up 8% from 2021’s showdown between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Kansas City Chiefs, which drew about 91.6 million.

NBC’s multiplatform broadcast of the Rams defeating the Bengals in a tight cinch for the Vince Lombardi Trophy— 23 to 20 —rose above the 100 million linear viewer threshold and set a record for streaming.
NBC not only ran the 2022 NFL championship game, but also all national ads, the halftime show featuring hip-hop and rap legends Dr. Dre, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Bilge, Kendrick Lamar and surprise musical guest 50 Cent, and pre-and post-game coverage.
For more comparison, 2019’s clash between the New England Patriots and the Los Angeles Rams on CBS averaged approximately 98.2 million viewers on the network alone— the Super Bowl’s lowest viewership total since 2008— and 100.7 million across all CBS platforms. The 2018 Super Bowl between the Patriots and the Philadelphia Eagles on NBC drew 103.4 million.
Super Bowl LVI’s telecast numbers were in-line with Variety’s Intelligence Platform, which predicted a TV audience of between 97 million and 100 million watching this Sunday on NBC, greater than last year and on par with 2019’s battle for football’s highest honor.
“We’re gratified that our strategy of combining the two most powerful events in the world – the Super Bowl and the Olympics – on ‘Super Gold Sunday’ has paid off in such a big way,” added NBC Sports Chairman Pete Bevacqua. “We look forward to continuing this strategy into the future.”

I'm going to google this black mans wife. I bet she is his rock.
Sisters get a bad rap, but they are there when you need them. That has always been my experience.

I also think he fucked over Bill Belichick, you can call me an Uncle, but that shit was fucked up by Flores.
He was going to get another job probably in this head coaching cycle. Dude jumped the gun, but we are suppose
to treat him like he is some noble warrior.

My Opinion - HNIC

I somewhat disagree with this. When it comes down to your people you should have some integrity,

Brian Flores says he declined to sign Miami Dolphins' separation agreement in order to speak out on treatment by team

  • he Miami Dolphins last month, coach Brian Flores declined to sign a separation agreement presented by team owner Stephen Ross, Flores told Bryant Gumbel of HBO's "Real Sports."
"Just signing that separation agreement would have really silenced me," Flores said in an episode that aired Tuesday night.
By not signing the separation agreement, Flores left millions of dollars on the table, said John Elefterakis, one of Flores' attorneys. But not signing also granted him the freedom to talk about his treatment in Miami.

"To Coach Flores' credit, he wasn't gonna sign that, because he wanted -- it wasn't about the money," attorney Doug Wigdor told Gumbel, adding it was a two-year non-disparagement agreement contract. "If it was about the money he would have signed it. What he did instead was he filed this lawsuit so that he could help other coaches, now ... and in the future."
Wigdor added: "If a coach is terminated with a couple years or a year left on their contract, they don't get paid unless they sign a waiver, an NDA, confidentiality and non-disparagement. So they buy their silence."

The Dolphins responded to Flores' comments on Tuesday evening, calling them "categorically false."

"This latest assertion by Brian Flores that Steve Ross mentioned an NDA to him is categorically false. This just did not happen and we simply cannot understand why Brian continues this pattern of making unfounded statements that he knows are untrue," the team said. "We are fully cooperating with the NFL investigation and look forward to all of the facts coming out which we are confident will prove that his claims are false and defamatory."

Flores' attorneys disputed the Dolphins' claim and provided screenshots of what they said were the draft agreement and the payment termination notice. One of the provisions specifically detailed a non-disparagement clause. Because Flores didn't sign the team's separation and release agreement, he was sent a payment termination notice by Brandon Shore, senior vice president of football and business administration. The memo stated that Flores would not be entitled to receive continuing payments of all non-accrued benefits and compensation because he didn't sign the agreement.

With the ability to speak freely about his time with the Dolphins, Flores, who was recently hired as a defensive assistant by the Pittsburgh Steelers, filed a lawsuit against the NFL and three teams (the Dolphins, Giants and Broncos), alleging racial discrimination in hiring practices and his dismissal by Miami.

Among other allegations, Flores said he was offered $100,000 per loss by Ross in 2019, something he and his attorneys told Gumbel they have evidence of and would be willing to share with the NFL in its investigation of Ross.

I don't feel bad for Belichick if anything he's been contributing to the problem, as he knew what was going on and stayed silent. Flores only made a mistake by filing the lawsuit too early. If he had waited, Josh McCown would be the Texans coach today. Since there were 9 HC positions available and 7 of them were filled by first-time coaches and 2 by experienced coaches, he had no reason to be unemployed. It annoys me the most that Flores is getting a lot of heat for his stance, but Belli is texting Daboll to congratulate him? Why did he do that.
