BREAKING NEWS: Ship collides with Brooklyn Bridge in New York.

Was Captain Morgan in charge of the ship? The captain is to know the height of his ship as well as the bridges his ship passes under. Clearly, he has no business being in command of that vessel. :roflmao2:

The ship lost power.

HORRIFYING! Sailors could be seen dangling from the masts of a high schooner. that slammed into the Brooklyn Bridge. Many fell into the East River. At least 20 were injured - some critically. We have videos of the moment the Mexican navy ship smashed into the bridge at www.toddstarnes.com

One question I had is where was the boat docked. (See below)
Those men shouldn’t been on the yardarms
when the mast was above bridge height, and was that damn close.

I hope the deceased sailors contract allows them to sue.

Apparently, they were giving tours of the vessel prior and were to leave at 8PM heading back to Mexico, I assume, but lost power & crashed into the Bridge at around 8:30PM.

My question, now, is why didn't those on the masts climb down once they saw that they didn't have power?
