BREAKING NEWS: Comedian George Carlin has died at 71

I'm not just saying this now, but I LITERALLY share my world views with him, I have never seen anyone else who shares the same feelings as I do about the following things, not even my friends:

1) religion, what a joke, mythology that dumb ass humans created long ago when they couldn't explain shit

2) what he calls "child worship." He tells it like it is, he says FUCK CHILDREN, and how everything is catered to them. God damn I thought I was the only one that thought that..

3) When people try to tell you about their kids, or show you pictures, he says "no one gives a fuck about your ugly ass, dumb, stankin ass kids but YOU, don't bother us with that shit," LOL

4) Women with hyphenated names. Get the fuck outta here with this shit, pick a name and stick with it bitch.

5) Yuppy parents who are proud of being good parents. Bitch all you did was FUCK, and "pump out a unit," (as George says), quit acting like it's some monumental accomplishment that you're a great mother, you had a dick in you that ejaculated bitch.

6) he clowns religion, I love it

7) The 10 commandments. A perfect being that created a perfect document that had to be amended a bunch of fuckin times, LOL, some god he was..., yeah lowercase

8) People who in the middle of a conversation who refer to their spouse or kids by their first name, without first telling you who they are. Bitch don't assimilate me into this shit, like I wanna know who they are.

9) he clowns religion

10) and clowned religion some more

Truly my favorite comedian of all time, what a thoughtful motherfucker, it's all cute now and shit to write "RIP" when in reality you barely gave a fuck, but I will DEFINITELY miss this guy and his comedy.

LOS ANGELES - Comedian George Carlin, a counter-culture hero famed for his routines about drugs and dirty words, died of heart failure at a Los Angeles-area hospital Sunday, a spokesman said. He was was 71.

Carlin, who had a history of heart problems, died at St. John's Health Center in Santa Monica about 6 p.m. PT after being admitted earlier in the afternoon for chest pains, spokesman Jeff Abraham told Reuters.

Known for his edgy, provocative material, Carlin achieved status as an anti-Establishment icon in the 1970s with stand-up bits full of drug references and a routine about seven dirty words you could not say on television. A regulatory battle over a radio broadcast of his "Filthy Words" routine ultimately reached the U.S. Supreme Court.

DAMN.

The GREASTEST comedian EVER after Richard Pryor. Carlin was on top of his game. Dude was also politically aware about the racial climate in this country. I recall one interview in which he talked about how the Drug War was the government's method of imprisoning Black Men.

And Carlin made took no prisoners on his feelings about 9/11 and the removal of some of our civil liberties.

One of my aunt's had a major comedy record collection consisting of Redd Foxx, Carlin, Pryor, Bruce, etc. That's how I discover Carlin when I was a kid in the early 70's.

R.I.P.:(:(:(

The fact that there will now never be another George Carlin HBO special is definitely one of the more fucked up things I've had to come to terms with. :(

But I am glad to see so many others here were also fans and recognized his great talent. RIP for real George.

Dude gets to validate his feelings on the existence of God now....

He was a good social barometer of the times. He said some deep stuff while keeping it humorous. I was just talking to a friend about all these recent celebrity deaths. We were talking about Bill Cosby, Dick Gregory, Robert Klein and all those comic pioneers of the 60's and then this. Spooky....

WTF??? (^This^ is what religion does to people.)

What per se does it do to people? Dude was an asshole, as most of you people are. I'm supposed to be sad because he's gone. I've seen to many good people go to care when a soulless person does. If religion, in you people's eye is wrong, then I will be wrong 4 ever. P.S. Now go pray to George Carlin.

He made you laugh and made you think, definitely one of the all time greats. He will be missed.

R.I.P.

Funny guy, loved his work RIP

however...

dude thought GOD/religion was bullshit...don't think he's laughing now :hmm:

He was one of the best wordsmiths I ever heard, and a fierce comedian...

Hopefully he's already met his family and he, Pryor, Hicks, Lenny Bruce and Redd Foxx are playin the dozens...

Thats a shame. Carlin was a very funny dude. He will be missed.

For all the cursing he did in his routine, did you also know he was the narrator for Thomas the train. LOL.
