Rumors probably going around that there may be some kind of"Sex Olympics" happening in Rio at the same time as the Japan Olympics

Costa Rica:
Central Valley: racist as hell, until they realize you are American. Then they
view you as a walking, talking ATM.
Limon: where the vast majority of Indians and Blacks live. Has a bad rep among whites, just
like Detroit. Of course, the hype is just that. A very peaceful place, with beautiful, peaceful people.
Hidden gems: Cahuita, Puerto Limon, Puerto Viejo.
Labor, housing, extremely cheap.
Food is hideously expensive. Like eggs? Be prepared to pay 3-4 bucks
for a dozen. Buses are cheap, air conditioned, and very reliable. NO POSTAL SERVICE.
Want to buy electronics? Better hit the lotto first. You will pay a LOT more in Costa Rica.
No real separation of church and state.
Panama: sickeningly beautiful women. Ridiculously. Almost like a cartoon. Even the fat, short, old chicks
are at least a 7, to be crude. Not nearly as racist as Costa Rica.
Cheap beer. Last time I was there, Guiness Stout was 1.50 AT THE BAR.
Students from neighboring countries visit to make extra cash fucking gringos.
MUCH cheaper than Costa Rica, overall.

They will rip the black off your natural ass.
A 10 min. ride from the airport to your hotel can take you 45 min., with the
cabbie driving your ass around, telling his buddies in Spanish how is is ripping
you the fuck off. All the while, he is telling you he is trying to find the place.
What should be a $15-20 fare is now $45. Most Americans and
Canadians just pay it. It happens all over C. America, but it is REALLY bad in Costa Rica.
Ripping off the gringo is considered a human right there. Weird.
Heed the warnings of locals.
Most white Americans and Canadians are terrified, because so many
people there are dark and speak only Spanish. They NEVER leave the tourist
areas. It is good to have/make a local friend. A local told me how to go to the fish
market (not Costa Rica), but said: "don't fuck around here at night. Colombians
sell dopehere. They will kill you." He also told me how to take a cab there and
back for $2, while the white boys from Florida were bragging about how they
insisted to the cabbies that they would only pay $10 total.
Just sayin'. You might already know. Just in case you didn't.
