I understand where Boyce is coming from but I give comics more leeway than other entertainers or public figures when it comes to how we are represented. She is trying to get laughs, you're not supposed to take the antics seriously. I want to see Tiffany do a drama one day just to see another side of her.

I dont find her funny but I cant knock her hustle either because I believe that is who she really is which makes what she is doing not cooning. Crackers are laughing at her and not with her but she is laughing all the way to the bank.
The biggest problem with this type of criticism is that it relies heavily on the critic putting stock and value in the perceptions of those who will hate him regardless of how he conducts himself.
I would expect someone of his (Boyce) age and education to have come to that realization by now. I would be more willing to engage someone like him on their opinion had he simply expressed his objections without giving weight to the viewpoints of the devil oppressor.

In my opinion, she goes a bit over the top for me but I wouldn't call her a coon, she hasn't sold out any Black person but I stand to be corrected and her main audience is Black folks. You'll also have to understand her and her background before you judge her, beneath all of that is genuine pain and that's her way of dealing with it. I'll refrain from calling her a coon.
