I am confused...Benavidez can clearly fight his ass off...why no urgency in the last round?...he seemed more intent on letting Danny know he wasn't hurting him on some playground type shit

They NEVER told him he was losing the fight. Every round he fought He said "good job" "you fought well"
His Father lied to him the whole fight and that's why he said he felt he won afterwards.
If it's a close fight you get the most outta your fighter by telling them they're behind.
Yeah I noticed that. He blocked a lot of Danny's shots and looked good when he decided to engage but he definitely wasnt active enough. I know his dad knows his boxing so I am wondering if they were all cool with a moral victory without saying it. Maybe that really is the most he can do with that fucked up leg.
