If the trend holds, this law should die its proverbial political death badly. This hasn't been a winning issue for Republicans in like 9 straight elections and it drives turnout like no other thing to vote for.

Even if it's on the ballot and passes, it doesn't mean it will be put into law..see Ohio and how the repubs still made it difficult to get abortions, even though voters voted to have abortion rights put into the state constitution. That's why I laugh when the hold your vote, voting does'nt matter crew say anything. This is another example of elections have consequences.
Ohioans approved protections for abortion rights. But most restrictions remain on the books
Ohioans now have the constitutional right to abortion. But for the average patient entering an abortion clinic, nothing has changed.
