Bone Thugs-N-Harmony To Reunite For Concert, Drake Will Also Perform

Bone Thugs-N-Harmony's Krayzie Bone has revealed the reasons for cutting short the rapper’s tour of Canada: he’s battling sarcoidosis, an autoimmune disease that attacks the lungs and lymph nodes of the chest.

Bone tells TMZ he believes he suffered an “intense case of pneumonia” during the trek due to his sarcoidosis medication weakening his immune system. It’s the same conditioned that led to the death of comic actor Bernie Mac in 2008.

Krayzie was reportedly ordered to nix the remaining dates of the tour return to L.A. for treatment.

Krayzie tweeted, “Canada thank you for your support sorry I had to cut it short due to sickness but I will be back to make those dates up soon! Much love”. Those dates are expected to be rescheduled once he’s fit to perform, according to the report.

How Is Sarcoidosis Treated?
There is no cure for sarcoidosis, but the disease may get better on its own over time. Many people with sarcoidosis have mild symptoms and do not require any treatment. Treatment, when it is needed, is given to reduce symptoms and to maintain the proper working order of the affected organs.

Treatments generally fall into two categories -- maintenance of good health practices and drug treatment. Good health practices include:

Drug treatments are used to relieve symptoms and reduce the inflammation of the affected tissues. The oral corticosteroidprednisone is the most commonly used treatment. Fatigue and persistent cough are usually improved with steroid treatment. If steroids are prescribed, you should see your doctor at regular intervals so that he or she can monitor the disease and the side effects of treatment. Other treatment options include methotrexate(Otrexup,Rheumatrex), hydroxychloroquine (Plaquenil), and other drugs.
What Can Happen As the Disease Progresses?
In many people with sarcoidosis, the disease appears briefly and then disappears without the person even knowing they have the disease. Twenty percent to 30% of people have some permanent lung damage. For a small number of people, sarcoidosis is a chronic condition. In some people, the disease may result in the deterioration of the affected organ. Rarely, sarcoidosis can be fatal. Death usually is the result of complications with the lungs, heart, or brain.

One of the smoothest voices in the rap game, and one of the few rappers who could cover a song by a singer and make it sound smoother and better...

To this day I still don't know them apart but I bump their music a lot
They have totally different voices, Kray is a baritone, Bizzy has a high voice, Lazy has his own style and wish and flesh are defiantly different.. But Bizzy and Kray defiantly have the two most distinctive voices, probably the two most unique voices in the rap game..

Not sure how bad his condition is, but just having sarcoidosis doesn't in and of itself mean anything bad will necessarily happen. I was diagnosed with it after having a follow up CT scan for a previous pulmonary embolism. Well, the doc spotted what he thought was lymphoma, so I had to get a lymph node biopsy, which thankfully showed that it was sarcoid growths rather than lymphoma. My case is pretty mild... never would have known I had it if they didn't spot it on the CT. Outside of that, the only thing that it affects is my white blood cell count (stays low). I don't feel anything though, and the doc says it may just go away on its own over time. Bernie Mac was on the other end of the spectrum. I hope Krayzie's case is more like mine.... Although I see he's on meds for it, which I'm not, so his may be worse.

My daughter just got over her fight vs lymphoma and to be honest it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be... She had a very light regiment of chemo, very little side affects, no hair loss, actually gained weight and was slightly nauseous for three days after her bi-weekly treatment... Only problem she had was when she got bad leg cramps after taking her shots she had to take to build up her blood due to the chemo.. But I think its similar to saroidosis because in most cases it just goes away but in cases like Bernie Mac or Flip Saunders both diseases can be very dangerous if they are aggressive and hit you the wrong way..

that's good man; glad to hear she is ok. I know there's hodgkins and non-hodgkins, and one is a lot more dire than the other... can't remember which is which though. Dude from Spartacus got one of them and 2 years later, he was gone, so I'm happy whenever anybody beats that shit (that or any cancer).

Actually its not the non-hodgkins or hodgkins thats the big factor, its the level you have, and how aggressive it is... I just burried a friend who died from it, but his shit spread all over and attacked his liver, bout time they caught it it was all in his organs... As a rule if it spreds below the diaphragm or is level 3 or higher, its going to be rough.. But my daughter had level 2 and after the steroid treat (a week before the chemo) she went down to level one... This is after being diagnost with a big ass growth in her chest and a blood clot in her juggler.. So that goes to show that even when things look bleak you never know, because 9 month later she has clean bill of health and she is all done with the chemo...
