Bobby Shmurda Got 7 Years . . . . .

Hell, he's already did like 3. Is this fed time? If not, he'll be out in about 2 and he can go back to dancing on table tops.
Yeah fed time with good behavior he'll do just under 6 and he got 2 in already, so he'll be in another 4 or so. The year or so in a halfway house.

I believe its state time. December will make 2 years. Another 3 1/2 years he will be home and still in his 20's. Initially, He will be able to make some money some money off of his tragedy. Hopefully, he make a plan for his life while he's in there.

Deeply saddened to hear this.

From what I understand, the brother never actually committed a crime. This is a charge based off affiliation of some other niggas.

Fuck, man. Niggas can't even be a rapper with street cred.

White supremacy...

He should have put up a gofundme for better representation.
RICO's law man:smh::smh:

He should get his "gangsta" friend to break him out of jail. Oh wait, they're all probably in there with him.

And, with the way the rap game moves, no one is going to be checking for dude 3-5 years from now. Current rappers these days are lucky to get that amount of time. He had one song, in 3 years it's over with...these folks won't even remember who he is.

Tru Life did 8 yrs and every label reaching out

Btw a young dude from my hood brought this to my attn, ppl don't realize the 2nd song he had Bobby Bitch was a hit single also check the youtube numbers n was on top of every video countdown show

It was better when you didn't know who he was, right? :D You can't unhear that crap.

he didn't have a real manager or agent... he doesn't own his music.... the crew is locked up, if he doesn't get help keeping his name floating in social media - its a wrap- but who knows, he might meet someone real behind bars or get lucky with another video when he gets out

Every label? Honestly dude wasn't even that popular before he went to jail. Not outside of NY anyways. 9 out of 10 people down here would have no clue who True Life is.

That dude better get WHATEVER education is available for him
Cuz 5 years from now, the game will be changed
and nobody will be giving handouts!
Sad for the young brother...
Then, he couldn't post bail SMH

Bobby Shmurda & Rowdy Rebel Discuss Prison Sentence & Future Music In First Interview Since Plea Deal

Brooklyn GS9 duo Bobby Shmurda and Rowdy Rebel recently gAbe their first interview since their plea deal.

The pair offered up some insight inot their time spent in prison, future plans for their music careers and much more.

Bobby and Rowdy took plea deal that saw them sentenced the to seven years in prison with two years time served.

This leaves them with five years left to serve plus the option of being released early, due to good behavior.

In the interview with interview Bobby finally gave the reasoning behind his acceptance of the plea deal to have time reduced.

“I did it for Rowdy. They offered me five and offered Rowdy 12. They said the only way they’ll give him seven is if I took seven too. So, you know, I had to take one for the dawgs,” Bobby explained providing some clarity.

During the discussion, the duo also reflected on Epic Record’s failure to post their $2 million bail.

“If we made bail I would’ve beat the case. We look guilty in these orange jumpsuits. If you put Al Sharpton in a orange jumpsuit and accuse him of having a gun, he’s going to be found guilty. They just look at our skin color, and look at where we’re from,” declared Bobby.

Despite the difficulty of their current situation, the duo says they still have more music in store, with Rowdy revealing that they have a few mixtapes ready to go to remain relevant and Bobby saying that he plans on a future in acting.

“I’m rapping, I’m acting, I’m going to have some books out. I want people to hear my story, they’re gonna feel my pain,” replied Bobby.
