BMF on Starz (tv discussion)premieres 9/26 on STARZ. Meech has been released

This show is so bad that social media is saving it with the jokes lol. Has the dialogue always been this bad or did I just ignore it?

It's gotten worse. He must be using the same writers from Power now.

Like how Charles has been working on fixing their house for three years now.

You ain't got no job Tommy, you could have built a mansion by now.

I know I wasn't tripping because yeah Power writing has always been bad. BMF's wasn't this bad. This is extremely bad and its noticeable.

Saweetie is on the latest episode, and I have to say she did a pretty good job. She did MUCH better than Carisha did last year, although she does lose some points for not committing to her love scene by going topless like Kash Doll did.

On a side note, I wonder does Little Meech find it weird to watch scenes of his TV grandparents getting it in? I imagine viewing parties at their house get pretty awkward. And I guess to that point, have they introduced Little Meech's mama on the show, because it has to be down right traumatizing to have to reenact your Dad dicking down your Mom for TV.

It would not shock me one bit if meech just busted out with "the path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men..."

I mean I hear them but fact is he survived for a long damn time.

It's quite obvious that Big Meech was either a very intelligent gangster, very convincing, had max-level survival skills, or had all three

That leads me to his son, Lil Meech, whose acting skills are limited, instead of having Big Meech shown as a complex and layered character, we're getting a straightforward hood show—boobs, blood, and guns.

I'm not an expert on the Flenorys or BMF, but I suspect they have begun to deviate strongly from reality because @_valtown_ on twitter stopped giving breakdowns and stopped mentioning the real people in which certain fictional characters were based on.

It’s shitty writing and direction. lil Meech can’t act but good direction and writing could get more out of him.

I was thinking this anyway... cause he had to be a beast with the mind to have so many different people rocking together! The show is sometimes entertaining but other times a let down..to bad we couldn't get writing like the godfather of harlem..

Perfect summation

If this wants to be a r rated gangsta version of Empire?

Ok fine they have achieved that.

But they squandered an opportunity to make a very compelling smart drama based loosely on the biggest black lead criminal organizations this country has ever seen.

In a way I'm glad they went the route they did.

Because obviously they weren't capable.

So there still leaves space for a HBO MAX or FX or Paramount + to do it properly.

They might end up being the R-rated gangsta version of Empire but in the wrong way.

If you remember the first two years, Empire was popular as hell, then it fell off dramatically.

Empire started doing things that people didn't like or found too unrealistic, a big example would be Jamal Lyon singing during a rap battle and that incident is cited by many as the point where they began jumping off the ship.

i would blame it on the gay shit
they were testing the waters and went full r with it
also killing of dude in season 1 was a big mistake

I'm saying they ALREADY that. And it's not a compliment. Its just a matter of fact.

I used the Empire example specifically because of all the reasons you stated.

If that is what they set upon. They were successful. The ratings are solid, I think they already got renewed. Once the season is over I binge and usually cancel unless the promotion still running.

But if it was cancelled tomorrow? I wouldn't miss it. And it was still a squandered opportunity to be great.

Storylines are nonexistent. Character motivations are schizophrenic. Acting is painful.

But as a black Hollywood star studded R rated ghetto absurdist soap opera with better writing than Tyler Perry with a strong social media following and ratings? Mission accomplished.

I got nothing against popcorn TV. But they reaching that jump the shark into a ring of fire into a pool of piranhas with snake venom territory.

If the people keep watching? I got nothing to say.

Oh hold on please let us all be clear...

The women on here have the greatest collection of perfect asses ever shown on the airwaves... Emmy worthy.
