Travelle Gilbert I have never heard a black man complain about this. I feel like this is a damned if you do, damned if you don't issue. If wearing weave makes you feel sexy and happy then you do you boo, you don't wear weave for men anyway, like makeup, you wear it for yourself.

Mercedes S. Jones Well, if black women's hair was widely accepted in our society we wouldn't have these issues. We are trained/conditioned to conceal our hair to appeal to Western standards of beauty.

The issue with black women's hair is the fact that there is ALWAYS an issue with black women's hair.

Monica J. Martin You know it's interesting how black women get ripped for wearing weaves.I see white and hispanics rocking extensions as well, but nobody spouting off about that. We're not the only one's wearing weaves.

Tiffany Williams The feelings of a race of men who don't even have ONE first world country led and controlled by them despite having over 50 countries on their continent is irrelevant to me. But yes, please continue worrying about weave and other races of men will worry about controlling your lands for you, as they have been doing for centuries.

Other races staying natural and we buying our hair out of a store. I tell people during the 60's certain whites were scared to death. They thought blacks was about to get their minds back. Now the same things that wrestled us into slavery is trying to wrestle us back there only this time if they succeed it will be way worst than what our ancestors went thru. And the doors for getting out have been revealed and have to be more tightly shut this time.
While they are picking up technology about a time period that they worked hard to erase, we are picking up their bad habits as though they came from us. When I was growing up watching Tarzan movies they make it seem as only blacks are cannibals. Some how along history they took what they use to do and pinned it on us. Same with drugs and other things.
