Black people, why can't we just do what the cop says?

I've been stopped by police for minnor traffic violations in Alabama, Maryland, Virginia, Delaware and Pennsylvania and never had a problem with a white cop. I've had a problem two times and unfortunately that was with a black cop. I do what they ask and they never ask me to do anything stupid or demeaning. I think most times the problem is our months. If we would say yes sir and no sir to them no matter what they say, most of the time there will be no problem. Just because a cops doesn't act right to you doesn't mean you act the same way to them. Two wrongs don't make a right! Stop worrying about what white people get away with and just make sure you are doing what is right. If we do that, after a while the cops will not mess with black people because they will start to see there not going to get a negative reaction from us. My experience is if someone is being mean to you, by you treating them with respect any way will make them change there behavior and be nice to u. I've done it so much to where I get a kick out of it. I've even been let off by doing that.

Part of the problem is the younger generation. My son went to work with me one night and we got done at 2:30 in the morning. A cop stopped us and asked me for my license and registration then told me my front head light was out. I told him ok I have one I can swap it out with. He said ok and then asked me where was I coming from and I told him I was working at the walmart and now heading home. He then told me to sit tight and went to his car. When he came back, he gave me a warning and told me to change it as soon as I could. My son though where we were coming from was none of his business. I told him more than likely its to hear you talk to see if you've been drinking. I don't drink, Im not doing the wrong things so what he asked me did bother me. My son couldn't say anything else.

Another is, I know people that argue with the cops and there in the wrong. My opinion is thats the main issue.

Motherfucker go ask Tamir Rice, John Crawford III and Philando Castile.

It's hard for me to do that because every time I get stopped.....I go in. But OP is right. You won't win it outside. You beat them in court and you can record, no matter what they say. It's some dirty motherfucking cops out there but it's some good people too.

Philando Castille and countless others would beg to differ, but they’re not here anymore!

Man stop....

Cause cops act like that can't tell the difference between a bruh that all thugged out and one in a suit that went to Harvard.

Let's keep that shit real! If they would act like there was a difference then OK, but we all get treated like shit regardless of education, income, accomplishments, dress, whatever.

I try not to hate all cops, but they make it hard.

to be fair....

not every cop is bad
not every black person that gets pulled over gets killed

ive been pulled over and gotten a break from a white cop
been pulled over a got a break from a black cop

dealt with dick head white cops AND black cops

there are assholes in every profession

you wanna solve the problem?
then more black men need to become cops and police our neighborhoods

there will always be police....there just needs to be more black ones
