Yes, plenty of people still buy generic DVDs. A lot of older folks refuse to upgrade and they are still some of the biggest buyers. Home media purchasing isn't as dead as people think it is.

4k UltraHD also includes the blu-ray and digital HD. Paying for a digital HD alone is straight up robbery.

No. You need a Xbox one S or X or a stand alone player. The PS4 can play back games and streaming content in 4k but not 4k blu-rays.

IMO the only sensible approach. All the rest of the stuff can be d/l for free. The 15G copy I got looks superb on my 4k TV. And there are bigger copies out there I've just been too lazy to look for them.

@godofwine - invest in a 4k player bro. They're very cheap and worth it once you see the picture.
