Before going "all in" and leaving her steady 9-to-5, Gentry began investing in cryptocurrencies during the Covid-19 lockdown in 2020. She started small, but gradually began investing more.

By early 2021, she had garnered substantial returns. "My investment portfolio surpassed my 401(k) — which had taken 11 years to get to $200,000 — in six months," Gentry says. She acknowledges that cryptocurrency is a risky investment, but her experience in finance and process of due diligence helps her feel comfortable investing in the space.

Now, Gentry is widely known as the "crypto mom" online. She continues to personally invest in digital assets, but mainly runs Gentry Media Productions with her daughters, Cynthia, 23, and Imani Gentry, 19.

The firm advises decentralized finance (DeFi) and nonfungible token (NFT) projects, and Gentry typically makes between 10 and 20 ether, which is around $40,000 to $80,000, from the business each month. In comparison, she made about $75,000 annually in her past job.

yea...my co-worker..who won't shut-up about crypto...claims he's a millionaire...at least on paper from investing in crypto...

i would consider him of average intelligence but he subscribes to some message board or newsletter to get his investment advice....

Why is he still reporting to work?

Why is he still reporting to work?

even though i've never asked him...because like i said...once you ask him about his crypto investments he won't stop talkin'... you can leave the room and come back...and he'll pick up right where he left off...for like eight hours...

but in talkin' to him before he discovered crypto...i can surmise...

he's almost 60...so i'm guessing he's close to gettin' his pension from the job...

and he probably doesn't fully understand crypto...he's just investin' in whatever the newsletter tells him to...so he could also think crypto is just a fad...

I didn't find a web presence for Gentry Media Productions. There was a website but nothing on it. May not be the same people though.
You don't need a website to get that 'advising' loot in crypto. There are people who reach out in forums, telegrams, discord, twitter, linkedin, etc. The game is to advise these projects and stay under the radar. They will pay you and not even put your name in the mix if you demand it going in.

As a U.S. resident, IMHO the last thing a person wants is a news piece with their fucking name in it. We in an industry where the SEC says that folks doing shit wrong and they can't tell us what is wrong. They reach back years and bitch slap people.

Hell, that's why some people who do what she does don't even have YouTube channels. A regular citizen getting hit with securities violation is in for a world of hurt. Even if you got millions in your warchest, you don't want that regulator heat. She just put herself on the radar for clout. :smh:

But I do see a lot of people running around reckless out here. We talk about it in the official crypto thread.

Nice story would have stayed under the radar, they are now targets for these jealous azz Cacs to try to take down. They love to poke holes in our success when it's better then theirs.
