Black Mississippi student forced to share valedictorian title with white student who had lower GPA

That highlighted text is the reason we continue to fail.

That bitch is not a nice kind harted, or sweet person, if she were she would have declined the award and the spot to walk and speak infront of you.

SHE would have protested and said I have not earned this.

Did she.... NOPE she took what was yours and felt nothing about it
All of this...

@Coldchi under feral law, the grades can't be released unless the legal guardians of the parents give consent to releasing them (if the girls are younger than 18). The girls themselves could publicly state their gpa's but it doesn't seem like the white girl is going to be forthcoming.

Surprised no one has brought up the statement of the mother saying she continued to have her child educated in a racist/predjudiced school district. I know shit ain't perfect anywhere but deciding to keep your child in a system of emotional stress probably bc they "feel" like the education system is better is a bitter pill to swallow. That's something the mom will have to take ownership for. They got an eye opening Education to the fuckery of generational predjudice and dislike.

Blatant hate and disrespect is one thing and easy to act and react to. Hate and disrespect wrapped in a bow of politeness or subtle bullshit is what really fucks people up and over these days.

KA...

(wait for it)

...BOOM.

Before we get up in arms let's find out the gpa's

If it is true, then you take the school district to the cleaners

And most important, Remember that, as good as you are people will try to short change you, so leave no doubt, in all your endeavors you do

Two problems:

1. No one knows what the GPA's were. The mother has no clue.
2. In high school graduations, as in most graduations, the salutatorian speaks first followed buy the Val. It's considered a privilege.

I agree. Anyone who has attended any kind of award ceremony / banquet / conference knows that the last speaker is almost always the person being paid the highest honor. You get to give the final lasting impression.

Now if they never had multiple valedictorians before, then they need to provide a logical explanation why that happened this year.

Also, a lot of parents and students try to game the system with the extra credit AP and advance placement courses. I heard a case where a student took all AP elective classes just to get an edge on her GPA

One thing I am noticing the last few years CAC's are getting dumber this is not joke but it looks like that's becoming a fact

I was watching this video and this cat was saying how fear and stress lowers intelligence. He went on to say how there has been a measurable decline among Americans intelligence since 9/11.
