Why is service in our neighborhoods always fucked up? I go to Rally's and I have to open my bag and inspect every sandwich, something always missing or fucked up in my order. I go to Wendy's the line is always long so I go in, trash is everywhere, workers throwin shit at each other. I order my food and bounce, I gotta come back because stuff was missing on the burger. Ol girl who made the sandwich said "My bad, I aint put no pickles or onions on your sandwhich because I(her), dont eat mines that way"... I go to fastfood spots by my job in the burbs and the service is on point and quick. I stress the word "fastfood" because when I go to my BBQ joint down the street from these places they take care of you. Whatsup with this?

Too true. I've pretty much given up on fast food and started cooking at the house. If I do decide to grab a burger, I'll go to a more high end restaurant where they use fresh ground beef or turkey.
One time me and my boy went to McDonalds after class. He ordered a Fish Fillet with lettuce, tomatoes and pickles. The bitch at the counter told him to pick somethin else b/c he was putting "too much stuff" on his order. I coudln't believe that dumb bitch
Its not just fast food joints but joints in the hood or joints whose clientèle are majority black.Why? because black folks especially hood black folks take it.Here in Oakland there is only 1 main BBQ spot.That spot is in a nice area but mainly frequented by but us(black folks).The food is ok but the service is unbelievably terrible.Terrible to the degree where they are rude.You NEVER see this in white communities.Why? Because we take it.This same spot is heavily supported and seen as a model "black owned" restaurant.A friend of mine was just telling me about another spot next door that had roaches on the walls.When they complained the waiter told them "What? You aint never seen no a roach before?".I always try and support our people,but sometimes we make it hard.

I even kicked a hole in the drive throu box once. They knew my ass did it(because I was always doing stupid shit like that) but just could prove it. They used to have thirty cent hamburgers/cheesburgers on tues and wed I think. It was pure hell. I wouldn't wish a fast food job on anyone. Then to think about some of the shit we did there
from dropping a whole box of meat on the floor and putting it right back in the freeze to be serve later. I've seen/did that shit a few times. Thinking like these mafakas ain't taking that sh*t out of my check. Shitty Pay = Bad Attitudes & Shitty Service

I guess it depends on the Manager, I went to one in a black neighborhood that had an Indian dude running it and shit was running crazy, they had their shit to say, but it was more under their breath. If it was a black manager, well, I've already mentioned it.
If I were you, I'd stop going to fast food places, they're no good. get yourself some ready made food at the Local Grocery Stores, most of them have that. More expensive, but less calories

NO ONE has to WORK for minimum wage. You can always go elswhere for employment. Shit become a waiter and get more in tips in one day than your whole paycheck at Mcdonalds.
Exactly what minimum wage and fast food was made for = Highschool students. Not grown folks. But I constantly see the person who (woman) 3 kids early and is (now) trying to work complaining about the wages meant for a child (living with parents). She's mad at the world because they won't give her more money.
That's sad. It just shows us that your parents (or parent) didn't teach you shit about "work ethic". As a business owner what I've found is that the people who are sloppy and care little about their job when they are young, usually don't care about their jobs as adults. They take those crappy habits wherever they work. What's the incentive for the business owner to "give" you more money when you still do the "same" crappy job?

Most of our hood BBQ and Surf & Turf spots are black or family owned so I guess that could eliminate that "I'm at work, but I dont give a fuck" mentality.
